He was also preceded in death by one brother. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones Fogarty of Eldorado; two sons, Robert and Tommy both of Dublin; three daughters, Shelby, Sherry, and Robin; one brother, Virgil Fogarty; one sister, Edna Denby of Forrest Park and eight grandchildren. on October 5, 2000.4

     Franklin Harvey Jones was buried at Woodlawn Annex Cemetery, Adel, Cook Co., Georgia.5,3 He Mr. Franklin Jones, 70 of Nashville passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Berrien Nursing Center. Mr. Jones was born December 25, 1950 to the late Fonder Dewitt Jones and June Buttrick Jones. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Valdosta and was an avid Braves fan. Mr. Jones was the only one in the state of Georgia that had a license to ride his four wheeler anywhere he wanted to go. Survivors include his nephews and nieces, Dusty (Jennifer) Sirmans of Valdosta, Tonya Weldon of Moultrie, John Melton of Valdosta, Bob Melton of Moultrie, and Robin Monk-Kresin of Valdosta, Wendy Culpepper of Valdosta, and Debra Williams of Valdota; and several cousins. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia Sirmans, Fonda Melton, and Brenda Fogarty. Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.3

Burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL. on July 9, 2014.1
