     Corwin C. Bailey was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1803 N. Coler Avenue, Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois.3,1 He was born in July, 1859 at Stark Co., Ohio.4,1 He married Serena A. Jane "Rena" Smith, daughter of Berryman Smith and Margaret Ann Crowell, on December 31, 1884 at Champaign Co., Illinois.1,2 Corwin C. Bailey died on December 21, 1912 at Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at age 53.1 He Corwin C. Bailey of 1307 West Park street, Urbana died at his home at 11:30 Saturday morning after an attack of apoplexy. He was doing some pump-work at the home of Mrs. Keeler, 408 North Second street when the attack came at 9 o’clock. He was seen to fall near the well and it was feared that he had fallen in. Neighbors hurried to the spot and found him in a fit of apoplexy. A physician was called and ordered him sent home in an ambulance and he died several hours later. The decedent was born in Stark county, Ohio, in 1859. When nine years old he came with his parents to this state, settling near St. Joseph. He bad been a resident of Urbana for 35 years. He married Miss Rena Smith on December 31, 1884. Besides his widow he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ida Sperling of Boise, Ida., and two brothers, Thomas of Peoria, and Otis of Mansfield. He was a member of Champaign lodge No 333, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Interment was at Woodlawn. The funeral was under Odd Fellows auspices. on December 25, 1912.1

     Steven Ray Thompson Steven Ray Thompson, 69 of Winter Springs, Florida, departed this life on April 5, 2011 after a short illness. Born February 21, 1942 in Mullens, West Virginia, he was the son of Vance H. "Red" and Iris Ray Thompson. Steven was a 1960 graduate of Mullens High School, and was a member of the AA State Championship football team, where he was selected All County, All Area, and Honorable Mention for the All S.E. Conference teams. He moved to the Orlando, Florida area in the mid 1970's and eventually retired from Wheeled Coach Industries in Winter Springs, Florida. He is survived by his mother, Iris Ray Thompson of Ballard, WV. One daughter, Cheryl Warren and husband Steve, and one son, Michael Thompson both of Jacksonville, FL. Two grandchildren; Jacob and Shawn Warren of Jacksonville, FL. Two brothers, David Thompson and wife Evelyn of Ballard, WV and Dr. J.R. Thompson and wife Elaine of Myrtle Beach, SC. Interment will then follow in the Mountain View Community Church at Elgood, West Virginia.3 He was buried at Elgood Cemetery, behind the Elgood school and the church, Elgood, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3 His Social Security Number was 233-68-4844.2 He was born on February 21, 1942 at Mullens, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.2,3 He married Blonnie Lee Taylor on December 7, 1959 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.4 Steven Ray Thompson and Blonnie Lee Taylor were divorced on January 19, 1978 at Orange Co., Florida.5 Steven Ray Thompson married Margaret Ann Barron on March 21, 1980 at Manatee Co., Florida.6 Steven Ray Thompson died on April 5, 2011 at Seminole Co., Florida, at age 69.2,3
