Gillard, died at her home in Elk River of heart disease. Surviving, besides her parents, are a sister, Myrtle, and two brothers, Julius and Archie, all of Elk River. on April 13, 1942.³

     Anna Mae Kirkpatrick was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saint Maries, Benewah Co., Idaho.^5,6,4 She was born on June 19, 1920 at Sandpoint, Bonner Co., Idaho.^6,4 As of July 2, 1937,her married name was Winter.² She married Eugene Harold Winter Sr., son of Edward Henry Winter and Rozetta Matilda "Rosa" Stewart, on July 2, 1937 at Moscow, Latah Co., Idaho.^1,6,2,3,4 Anna Mae Kirkpatrick died on July 12, 1987 at Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington, at age 67.^6,7,4 She Service for Anna M. Winter, 67, will be Wednesday. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery there. Mrs. Winter died Sunday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Born in Sandpoint, she moved to Elk River, Idaho, when she was 15, and attended school there. After her marriage to Eugene Winter, in 1937, they lived in the area in towns to which he was transferred by the Milwaukee Road and moved to St. Manes in 1972 from Calder, Idaho. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary July 2. Survivors include her husband; six sons, Eugene Winter Jr. and Charles Winter, both of St. Mules; Frederick Winter of Bovill, Idaho; William Winter of Olympia, Richard Winter of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Joseph Winter of Spokane; one daughter, Merna Lewis of St. Maries; two sisters, including Dorothy Charles of Malden, Wash; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. on July 14, 1987.⁶

     Eugene Harold Winter Jr. Eugene Harold Winter Jr. was born in Elk River, ID on May 17, 1938 to Anna and Eugene Winter. He grew up in Calder, ID and attended school there. Following school, he went to work with the Forest Service. In 1963 he met Diann Crawford and they married July 10, 1964 in Coeur d' Alene, ID. He was working for the railroad and living in Calder, ID when his 2 children were born. They later moved to St. Maries where he drove garbage truck and he and his wife were the care takers of the dump. In 1973 the family moved to Kellogg, ID where he worked in the mines. 11 years later the family moved back to St. Maries. In 1991 he suffered a stroke that forced him into retirement. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing cribbage, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. Eugene is survived by his wife Diann St. Maries ID, his son Michael and Nancy Winter, and daughter Cora and David Monzingo all of St. Maries. He is also survived by brothers Fred and Zita Winter of Bovil ID, Bill and Brenda Winter of Olympia, WA, Joe and Glenda Winter of Coeur d' Alene, ID, Richard and Audrey Winter of Rathdrum, ID, Chuck and Angela Winter of St. Maries, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Merna Lewis.² He was born on May 17, 1938 at Elk River, Clearwater Co., Idaho.^6,2 He married Diann Merle Crawford on July 10, 1964 at Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai Co., Idaho.^6,2 Eugene Harold Winter Jr. died in 2014 at Idaho.²

     Fredrick J. Winter Sr. was buried at Bovill Cemetery, Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho.^1,5 He was born on February 15, 1940 at St. Maries, Benewah Co., Idaho.¹ He married Roberta Louise Anderson on June 4, 1960 at Saint Maries, Benewah Co., Idaho.⁶ Fredrick J. Winter Sr. and Roberta Louise Anderson were divorced on February 14, 1961 at Benewah Co., Idaho.⁷ Fredrick J. Winter Sr. married Zita Green on April 15, 1961.¹ Fredrick J. Winter Sr. died on May 4, 2016 at age 76.¹ He Fredrick Winter Sr., age 76, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at home. He was born Feb. 15, 1940, in St. Maries, Idaho, to Eugene and Anna Kirkpatrick Winter. When Fred was 16 years old, he went to work for the Milwaukee Railroad. In 1967, he became a section foreman at Ethelton, near Avery, Idaho. In 1976, Fred moved his family to Bovill, where he worked for the railroad until the rail line was abolished in 1978. He then began driving a bus for Whitepine School District No. 284 until health issues forced him into early retirement. Fred married Zita Green on April 15, 1961. They had nine children, Theresa, Fred Jr., Barbara, Lucy, Margaret, Christie, James, Robert and Rebecca. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, feeding the ducks and geese at Moose Creek Reservoir and especially enjoyed his family. Fred is survived by his wife, Zita, at the family home; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers, William (Brenda), Richard (Audrey), Joseph (Glenda) and Charles (Angela). Preceding him in death were his father; mother; sister Merna; brother Eugene (Mike); grandson Brett; daughter-in-law Paula; and son-in-law Craig. The family would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at hospice, especially Ana, whom Dad looked forward to seeing every week. A graveside service is at the Bovill Cemetery on May 7, 2016.¹

She was born Merna Jo Winter on July 4, 1936, in Spokane. on December 29, 2006.⁴

"Chuck" Lewis was born on December 25, 1925 at Sauk, Skagit Co., Washington.^4,3,2 He married Merna Jo Winter, daughter of Eugene Harold Winter Sr. and Anna Mae Kirkpatrick, on June 29, 1984 at Skagit Co., Washington.¹ Charles L. "Chuck" Lewis died on August 12, 2003 at Plummer, Benewah Co., Idaho, at age 77.^2,3 He PLUMMER, IDAHO - No service was held for Charles L. "Chuck" Lewis, 77, at his request. Lewis, who was born in Sauk, Wash., died Tuesday. He grew up near Sedro Woolley, Wash., and worked in the woods as a young man. In 1951 he married Mable Hammerick in Portland. She died in 1976. He lived in Coos Bay, Ore., and worked as a heavy-equipment operator in the construction industry, and also was employed in Alaska and Washington. Mr. Lewis moved to Plummer in 1978 and operated equipment for Kay Tennewick Construction in Moscow, Idaho. He retired in 1984, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. on August 15, 2003.²

     Christie Louise Winter was buried at Bovill Cemetery, Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho.^2,3 Her married name was Kline.² She married Rich Kline.² Christie Louise Winter was born on February 7, 1970 at St. Maries, Benewah Co., Idaho.² She died on May 13, 2017 at age 47.² She Christine L. Winter of Bovill passed away suddenly Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the age of 47 by her best friend's side, doing what they enjoyed most. Christine was born Feb. 7, 1970, in St. Maries, to Fred and Zita Winter. She lived there until her family moved in 1976 to Bovill, where she lived until she graduated from Deary High School in 1988. After graduation, Christine moved to Moscow, where she married Rich Kline and started a family of her own. From that union, they had two beautiful children, Kaylie and Keven Kline. In 1997, Christine and her family then moved back to Bovill, where her children were raised. Christine later earned her associate's degree through the University of Phoenix. Her most recent place of employment was IDEA Homeschool and Seubert's Home Health Care. She enjoyed camping, rock hounding and had a deep love for anything outdoors. However, nothing was more important than her family, especially grandson Thomas Lockhart. Christine had a one-of-a-kind personality that most people never had the chance to encounter. It only took one time of meeting her to realize her personality was like no other. She was high-spirited, full of energy and always so caring for others. Although her words could light up a room, her actions followed right along with them. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Winter Sr; brother-in-law Craig Hayes; and sister-in-law Paula Winter. She is survived by her children, Kaylie Kline and Keven Kline; grandson Thomas Lockhart; siblings Theresa, Fred Jr., Barbara, Lucy, Margaret, James, Robert and Rebecca. She had a very special bond with her nephews and nieces who gave her so much love and happiness. A graveside service will be held at the Bovill Cemetery. on May 19, 2017.²
