G. Pedro (Virginia) of Beckley and Mrs. Leona Merrix of Hinton; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchfldren. Her husband, W. E. Davis, died in 1959. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery. on November 4, 1972.2

He was a veteran of World War II and member of the Church of Christ. Besides his parents, he is surivived by two children, Lawrence Edwards, Jr. and Mary Marie of California; one brother, Lee Davis of Hinton; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Gay of Gainesville, Fla., Mrs. Geneva Bragg of Hinton, Mrs. Margaret Whitley of Rockledge, Fla. and Mrs. Blanche Wellman of Urbana, Ohio. on November 26, 1963.7

Born in December of 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lawrence and Dora Bennett Davis. She worked as a LPN at the Hinton Hospital where she loved taking care of the newborn babies. She later worked at Pinecrest Sanitarium in Beckley and in later years she was the produce lady at Pence Springs Flea Market. Preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Bragg. Survived by three sons, Ralph Daniel Bragg and wife Marilyn of Brookville, OH, Donnie L. Bragg , Paul D. Bragg and wife Debbie all of Tug Creek Mt; one daughter, Dorry Bragg of FL; eight grandchildren, Anna Lee, Donald, Russel, Lori, Yubecca, Michael, Cody and Geneva; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Bragg Family Cemetery on Tug Creek Mtn. with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Her goal in life was to be a good mother, she exceeded that goal. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be sorely missed. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.      Paul Wilson Bragg was buried at Paul Bragg Family Cemetery, Tug Creek, Summers Co., West Virginia.2,4 His Social Security Number was 229-16-4594.5 He Paul Wilson Bragg, 84, of Tug Creek Mountain, Summers County, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003 at Summers County Continuous Care Center following a long illness. Born Dec. 19, 1918, he was the son of the late Johnny and Price James Bragg. Mr. Bragg had lived all of his life in Summers County. He worked as a farmer and construction worker. Paul had a great sense of humor and loved to hunt for ginseng in the great outdoors of West Virginia. He grew many a beautiful garden, and whether it was vegetables or wildflowers, they both flourished. He enjoyed living his life to the fullest. He was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Pearl and Carl Bragg; and two sisters, Ethel Jones and Patsy Kelly. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Davis Bragg; three sons, Danny Bragg and wife, Marilyn, of Brookville, Ohio, Donnie Bragg of Hinton and Paul "Gig" Bragg and wife, Debbie, of Hinton; a daughter, Dorry Ann Bragg of Almonte Springs, Fla; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-laws, Stella Bragg of Hinton and Geneva Neely Bragg of Brookville; and a brother-in-law, Fred Kelly. Graveside service and burial was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 9th. at Paul Bragg Family Cemetery, Tug Creek, with Pastor Eddie Johnson officiating.2 He was born on December 19, 1918 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.1,2,4,3,6,7 He married Geneva Davis, daughter of William Edward "Ed" Davis and Dora Edith Bennett, on October 13, 1948 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.1,8,2 Paul Wilson Bragg died on January 7, 2003 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 84.2,4,6,7,5

He was employed as a construction worker in Georgetown. Born in Summers County Dec. 20, 1921, he was the son of the late Clarence and Anna Cales Richmond. He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include a brother, Paul E. of Columbus, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Lavatta) Lilly of Nimitz.
