He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as an elder and taught Sunday School. He served many years as a board member for the Bluefield Union Mission. Surviving: wife, June Whitt Jarrell of Bluefield, W.Va; daughters, Nancy Williams of Coronado, Calif., and Ann Campbell of Ft. Bragg, N.C; son, Frank P. Jarrell of Charleston, S.C; sisters, Frances Whedbee of Norfolk, Va., Lois Crandell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Virginia Gillespie of Cheyney, Pa; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 1996, at ll a.m. from the First Christian Church with the Rev. C. Michael Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on March 22, 1996.4
