Mrs. Martin was born on February 28, 1928 in Randolph County, IN to George C. and Minnie A. (Moon) Terrell; they preceded her in death. On November, 28, 1947 in Muncie, IN she married Jack E. Martin; he preceded her in death on July 26, 1991. Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Bork of Angola, IN and Terri Nodine of Wolcottville, IN; a son, Gregory A. Martin of Angola, IN; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Moistner of Muncie, IN, and Marilyn UpChurch of Yorktown, IN; and a brother, Robert E. Terrell of Farmland, IN. Bartlett, 70, Muncie, passed away Thursday evening, November 2, 2017 at her residence with her family surrounding her. She fought through many battles showing all she knew the true meaning of strength. She was born Monday, December 23, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Billy B. and Jean (Plank) Martin. Sharon was a life long residence of Muncie, and was a graduate of Southside High School. She attended Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren, and Church of the Latter Day Saints. Sharon was employed by Marhoffer, and Farm Bureau Insurance Company for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon enjoyed spending time at the pond, and feeding the fish. She also enjoyed going shopping. Survivors include her daughter, Angela (husband Ryan) Pickering; companion Hap Montgomery, brother Danny Martin, sister Karen (husband Jeff) Songer; grandchildren Maci and Matthew Pickering, also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. on November 5, 2017.3
