Her married name was Taylor.1 Geraldine Jackson married William Clinton Taylor, son of Ralph Willington/Wellington Taylor and Alpha Macel Hammack.1 Geraldine Jackson was born on April 15, 1927 at West Virginia.2 She died on August 10, 2017 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 90.1 She Geraldine (Jackson) Taylor, 90, of South Charleston, passed away on August 10, 2017, at the Hubbard Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Deliah Jackson; husband, William C. Taylor; sons, William F. and James E; daughter, Patricia Ann; granddaughter, Crystal, and great-grandchildren, Timothy and Zoe. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Theresa (Mike) Spencer; Deborah (Harry) Tucker; Connie (Bill) Murdy; and Terrie (Rick) Hammonds with whom she made her home; sons, Tom (Brenda) Taylor; John; Danny; Richard (Dolline); and, Mike (Jeannie); 25 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hubbard Hospice House staff and Dr. Christopher Skaggs. on August 11, 2017.1

James Edgar Taylor James Edgar Taylor, March 4, 1944 - February 26, 2015. James E. Taylor of Beaufort, SC was called home by the Good Lord at the age of 70 on February 26, 2015. Born and raised in Elkview W.V., the son of Geraldine Jackson and William Clinton Taylor. James was a very loving and doting husband of 34 years to his surviving wife Tammie Taylor and a wonderful and supportive father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. Family was very important to James and he taught his family the importance of family and showed them every day the unconditional love that a family has for one another. The world has lost a very special, hardworking, gentle, kind, and simple man. He will be forever missed by his family and friends. During his life, he owned "Jim's Gulf Station" in both South Charleston and Kanawha City, W.VA. He also worked as the automotive service manager for Kmart Automotive, and for Clearon Tableting plant in South Charleston, W.VA., before finally making his forever home here in Beaufort SC. for the past 9 years with his wife, where he was employed by Atlantic Marine Corps Communities as an HVAC and general maintenance technician. Though suffering from a serious illness, he continued to work. He loved his job, his co-workers, and the military residents and their families that he serviced. Preceding him in death were his father William Clinton Taylor, a son Timothy Taylor, a daughter Crystal Alexpoulos and his brother William "Bill" Taylor. Surviving his legacy is his wife Tammie Taylor, children, Kathryn Luikart, James E. Taylor Jr., and Robin Taylor Ashworth, and his siblings, Connie Murdy, Theresa Spencer, Terry Hammonds, Deborah Tucker, John Taylor, Michael Taylor, Danny Taylor, Richard Taylor, Tom Taylor and their families. James is also survived by his 9 wonderful grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.2 He married Mary Dixon.4 James Edgar Taylor was born on March 4, 1944 at Elkview, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2 He married Tammie Renee McCullough on February 9, 1981 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.1 James Edgar Taylor died on February 26, 2015 at Beaufort, Beaufort Co., South Carolina, at age 70.2
