She was born on Nov. 11, 1958, in Charleston. Her loving and devoted husband, Robert Wayne Hodges, whom she married June 11, 1982, survives her. Also surviving are one son, Joseph Settle and his wife, Jennifer, of Charleston; two daughters, Monica Kinder and her husband, Marty of Cabin Creek, and Tiffany Adkins and her husband, Kenny, of Hernshaw; four grandchildren, Joseph Settle Jr., JD Settle, Marty Kinder Jr. and Codie Adkins; two sisters, Betty Jo Hill and husband, Rick, of Bridgeport and Barbara Westfall and husband, Gary, of Blue Creek; one brother, Jack Rose and wife, Suzanne of Clendenin; and father, Joe D. Rose of Belle; several nieces and nephews. Her mother, Betty Jean Elmore Rose Morris, preceded her in death. Bonnie had a zest for life, a loving and kind spirit. She had lived life to the fullest while enjoying many hobbies and interests. Her main joy in life was spending time with her husband, family and friends. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter and a faithful true friend to those who were blessed to know her. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, with the Rev. Richard Harold and the Rev. Mike Graley officiating. Interment will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. The family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to all of our relatives, friends, neighbors and the staff of Hubbard Hospice House and other hospice workers for their help and support in Bonnie's care. Her family thanks the Lord for the joyous times and memories we've had together. Words alone cannot describe the love that family and friends felt toward this wonderful person. Her warm and affectionate memories will forever be etched in our hearts and souls. She will be sorely missed! Her faith has taken her on to a much better place, no more suffering, no more pain, no more tears. Only happiness and joy! We will meet again. Praise God! Praise God! On September 20, 2004.3
