Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 52 years, Claudia Blevins Smith of Kirby Mt; three children, Wilford David Smith of Indiana, Victoria Smith Kesler and husband John David of Kirby Mt. and Wilford Smith Jr. and wife Sybil of Kirby Mt; seven grandchildren, Dalton Elijah Lee Smith, Kristen Cales, Ariel Smith, Riley McKee, Eli Smith, Jossie Smith and Shenandoah Cochran; six great grandchildren, Juliette, Shenabelle, Daniel III, Caroline, Anna Marie and Tipton; two sisters, Clara Persinger of Princeton and Leota Cantley of Lowell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Baptist Church Cemetery. on November 21, 2016.¹
