Erma enjoyed being outside working in her flowers. She was full of love for her family, and had a deep faith in the Lord. She will be missed so much on this earth. She is survived by her husband, Jack L. Bays; daughter, Brenda Fernatt; grandchildren, Christina Roop and Erin Cook; great-grandchildren, Nathan Roop, Brooklyn Roop, Renesmee “Nessie” Roop, and Christian Roop; brother, Joe McCallister; sisters, Naomi Frame of Ohio, Joyce Smith of Alabama, Jean Henderson of Alabama, Rita Amenta of Martinsburg; special nieces, Pam Brown and Joyce Lett. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Craig Cook officiating. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Cantley of South Charleston; and three children: one son, Robbie Cantley and his wife, Jean, of South Charleston; and two daughters, Pam Brown and her husband, Gene, of Julian and Joyce Lett and her husband, Steve, of Poca. Also surviving are three grandsons, Michael Cantley and his wife, Brittnie, Joshua Cantley and Tyler Lett; one great-grandson, Carlet Joe Cantley; brother, Joe McCallister of Nitro; sisters, Naomi Frame of Ohio, Erma Bays of South Charleston, Jean Henderson and Joyce Smith of Alabama, and Rita Amenta of Martinsburg; a special niece, Brenda Fernatt of South Charleston; an aunt, Ruth Goldsberry of Nitro; and many friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Bishop Craig A. Cook officiating. Entombment will follow in the Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum. on October 11, 2009.3

The service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 3, at Cooke Funeral Chapel, 2002 30th St., Nitro, with Minister Michael Fernatt officiating. Burial will follow the service in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. on November 2, 2008.3

Elsie Mae Goins was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1 Her Social Security Number was 232-92-1090.3 Her married name was Lore.1 She married Mirl Raymond Lore, son of Herman Henry Lore and Hazel Lena Poff.1,2 Elsie Mae Goins was born on October 10, 1915 at Blakeley, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,3 She died on February 26, 2008 at Orlando, Orange Co., Florida, at age 92.1,3 She Elsie Mae Lore, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at home in Orlando, Florida, after a short illness. Born October 10, 1915, at Blakely, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Verna Goins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mirl Lore; brothers, Jess, Roy and Freddie; and sisters Leona Slater, Loraine Crane, and Ethel Pauley. Elsie was one of the first members of Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene and a Sunday school teacher for over 41 years. Since 1984 Elsie had faithfully attended Center Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene in Orlando. Elsie is survived by her sister, Ruby Higginbotham of Hurricane; daughter, Bonnie Lore; a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Bob Hudson, and their sons, Rob and Todd, and their wives, Kathy and Alicia; and four great-grandchildren, Bobby, Crystal, Dakota and Tiffany, all of Orlando. A service to honor the life of Elsie will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Merlin Provance officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Family and friends will visit from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
