Mr. Gilkey served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from Progressive Power Technology as a numerical control programmer. He is survived by: his wife, Sherrie Gilkey, at home; his mother, Helen Elizabeth Gilkey, Hermitage; and his daughter, Cynthia Ann Gilkey, West Middlesex. He was preceded in death by his father. Service: Funeral service with full military honors at 11 a.m. Wednesday (8-11-10) in the funeral home with the Rev. William Knechtel of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Lackawannock Township, officiating. Interment: Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex. on August 10, 2010.3
