     Frances Mae Griech was born on May 14, 1942 at Ridgeway, Elk Co., Pennsylvania.¹ As of November 1, 1969,her married name was Kroemer.¹ She married Harry W. Kroemer on November 1, 1969 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Frances Mae Griech died on March 30, 2016 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania, at age 73.¹ She Frances Mae Kroemer, 73, of Warren, died Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016 at Warren Manor Nursing Home after an illness of the past four months. She was born May 14, 1942 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Edward P. and Catherine Dunn Griech. She was a graduate of St. Leo High School, Ridgway. Fran has been a Warren area resident since 1962. She was an avid cook and baker. Fran was of the Catholic faith. She had been employed as a nurse's aide with the former Warren Nursing Home. Frances is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harry W. Kroemer, whom she married Nov. 1, 1969 in Warren. She is also survived by two daughters, Patricia L. Larkin and husband, Jim of Wexford, and Diana W. Marusiak and husband, Luke of Snoqualmie, Wash; and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Uhlig, Garrett Larkin, Matthew Larkin, David Marusiak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Griech, infant brother, Eugene Griech. A private funeral service Frances Mae Kroemer will be conducted at the convenience of the family. on March 31, 2016.¹

Mrs. Magera was a member of St. Suzanne Roman Catholic Church, and was affiliated with several school boards. She attended Robert Morris Business College after graduating from Canonsburg High School. She was secretary to the principal and board of education of Dearborn Heights, Mich, the Fairlane School District. Surviving are her husband, Michael Magera, of Detroit, Mich; one daughter, Leta Magera, who is attending North Wood Institute at Midland, Mich; her father, Elmer J. Dunn, of Canonsburg; three brothers, Robert Dunn and William Dunn, both of Canonsburg and Elmer Dunn, of Hickory; two sisters, Dorothy Dunn, and June, wife of Kenneth Monohan, both of Canonsburg, and several nieces and nephews. on February 22, 1971.²

She was registered with the American Society of Medical Technologists since 1958 She worked in Hospitals in Santa Rosa, Belen and Albuquerque, NM and in Ottawa, KS until her retirement due to health problems She was proudest of her work at the Santa Rosa Hospital in the 1960's with Drs. John Galvin and Phillip Parker, and with her work with the state association of medical technologists. She won the AMI Distinguished Achievement Award in 1968. Beanie was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Margaret; and her friends, Jerry Goodrich and Doris Galvin She is survived by her "kids", Jolynn, John and Jerry Galvin, Steven Hooper; and her special "grandson", Patrick Hooper all of whom she considered her family. Beanie had many friends from Glory Christian Fellowship and St. Bernadette Catholic Church who loved and cared for her Their support in the last weeks of her life has been greatly appreciated She had incredible stamina in battling her many health problems which included polio, diabetes and several bouts with cancer, which was the cause of her death. Thank you to the many doctors and medical professionals who cared for her all these years at Presbyterian and UNMH. Beanie will be cremated and has asked that her ashes be buried in her family plot in Artesia. on March 10, 2002.⁵
