     Loyd Douglas Johnson Loyd D. Johnson, 76, Middleport died unexpectedly on Tuesday February 15, 2005 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV. He was born April 11, 1928 in Dorcas, OH. The son of the late Douglas L. Johnson and Gladys L. Oliver Johnson Goulding. He worked for Ford Motor Company over 15 years as a Press Operator, served in the United States Military in Korea July 31, 1950 to July 31, 1951. He was a member of Feeney Bennett Post 128 American Legion, VFW Post 9053 and the DAV Post 53. He is survived by: wife Ardella M. Eimers Johnson of Middleport, a daughter Sandra M. Johnson of Reedsville, stepmother Brace Johnson of Pomeroy; sisters, Gloria Jean Manuel of Racine, Nancy Prater of Hamden; brothers, Douglas (Alma) Johnson Jr., Arthur Earl (Margaret) Johnson, Roy Wayne Johnson, all of Racine; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Ann Johnson and Leota N. Johnson Hubbard. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday February 18, 2005 at Fisher Funeral Home in Middleport. Burial will follow in Letart Falls Cemetery in Letart, Ohio. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Claribel was born September 1, 1918 in Ripley, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Edwina (Russell) Rater. On October 13, 1937, she married Lewis Eimers. He predeceased her on August 31, 1989. She was a homemaker who loved being able to be there for her family and often thought of others' needs before her own. Claribel enjoyed latchhooking, crossword puzzles, reading novels and non fiction, especially books about birds, and taking long walks. She is survived by her children, Raymond (Gloria) Eimers of Tonawanda, Diane (Wesley) Reese of Lockport, and Julie (Stephen) Dersham of Campbell; grandchildren, Rebecca (Todd) Welch of Painted Post, and Jason (Laurie Ballos) Dersham of Campbell; great grandson, Timothy Welch of Painted Post; brother-in-law, Guernon Eimers of Erie, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Ardella Johnson of Middleport, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard and sisters, Louella, Gladys, and Dorothy. Claribel's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2006 from 1-3 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 West Pulteney Street, Corning, where her funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. David Peck officiating.      Raymond L. Eimers Raymond Lee Eimers, age 79, of Bath, NY and formerly of Buffalo, NY died Monday December 3, 2018 at the Bath VAMC. He was born in Ripley, NY the son of the late Lewis E. and Claribel (Rater) Eimers. He was a retired Electrician and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his sister, Julie (Stephen) Dersham of Campbell, niece Rebecca Welch and nephew Jason Dersham. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Gloria G. Eimers and sister Diane Reese. There will be no services and burial will be in Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.⁵ He was buried at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, Steuben Co., New York.^3,4,5 He married Gloria Unknown.^6,5 Raymond L.      Diane M. Eimers REESE - Diane M. (nee Eimers) of Lockport, entered into rest February 10, 2015. Born February 10, 1942 in Ripley, NY. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Claribel (Rater) Eimers. Diane worked Briody Health Care Facility for several years. She was member of the Woodlands Wednesday morning coffee clache and a past secretary of the Homeowners Association. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, her husband's roses and her daily coffee and sweets. Diane was a perfect wife, loved by her family and special friends at Briody. Beloved wife of Wesley C. Reese; devoted step mother of Donna (Michael) Zigante and Kari (Michael) Drawdy both of Florida; cherished step grandmother of Connor, Collin and Joey; dear sister of Raymond (Gloria) Eimers of Tonawanda and Julie (Stephen) Dersham of Campbell, NY; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.³ Her married name was Reese.¹ She married Wesley C.
