     Joan M. McDonald was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 4523 Love Road, Millcreek Township, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Her married name was Work.¹ She married John Truman Work, son of William Alexander Work and Mildred E. Hubbard.¹ Joan M. McDonald was born on February 17, 1935 at Johnsonburg, Elk Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She died on July 3, 2016 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania, at age 81.¹ She Joan M. (McDonald) Work, age 81, of Millcreek Township, passed away at LECOM Senior Living, on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Born in Johnsonburg, Pa., on February 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Sullivan) McDonald. Joan was a registered nurse, certified occupational health nurse specialist and certified case manager. She worked for Lord Corporation for 28 years. Joan served on the boards of The National Alliance for the Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board of Erie County. She was a past president of the NW PA Association of Occupational Health Nurses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Aulenbacher; her daughter, Cynthia A. Work; and a brother, James McDonald. She is survived by her sons, Randy Work, wife Bren, of Millcreek and Kevin Work, of Erie; a brother, John McDonald, of Kansas; grandchildren, Gene and Melissa Work; Brian Work, great-grandchildren, Adriana, Koner, Brooke, Blake and Bella Work, Jacob Schleicher and Jordyn Gains; and stepchildren, Chuck Aulenbacher, wife Terri, Betty Croxall, husband Dennis, Steven Aulenbacher and Edward Aulenbacher. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th St., at Greengarden Blvd., Thursday from 2-4 p.m. to 6-8 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Rev.      Cynthia A. Work was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 4523 Love Road, Millcreek Township, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.² She was born on March 8, 1957 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.² She died on November 1, 2012 at Pennsylvania at age 55.² She Cynthia A. Work, age 55, passed away suddenly at her residence on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Born in Erie on March 8, 1957, she was the beloved daughter of Joan Work, and loving sister of two brothers, Randy Work, wife Brenda, and Kevin Work, all of Erie. She is further survived by an uncle, John McDonald, of Overland Park, Kansas, two nephews, and several cousins. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, J. Truman Work; a half-brother, H. Truman Work; an uncle, Jim McDonald; her step-father, Charles Aulenbacher; and her grandparents, Jack and Gertrude McDonald and William and Mildred Work. She was a graduate of Gannon University with a degree in Liberal Arts. She worked at the Mental Health Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania, served on the Board of Directors of the PA Mental Health Consumers Association, and was a Certified Peer Specialist. An avid reader and person of remarkable insight, she was admired for her courage, tenacity, and compassion, and will be greatly missed. Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, Monday from 4 until 6 p.m., at which time a service will be conducted by Msgr. Richard Sullivan. He was born October 16, 1945 in Erie the son of the late J. Truman Work and Lillian Lynn Scott of Ft. Myers, Fla. Truman had worked as a draftsman for AMSCO, and later traveled the world as a troubleshooter in repairing and installing their equipment. Truman is survived by a daughter, Amy Harle and her husband Fred of Jamesville, N.Y. and their children Olivia and Ava. He is the brother of Cindy Work, Randy Work and his wife Brenda, and Kevin Work, all of Erie along with Nicole Work of Edinboro and Larry Stokes and his wife Linda of Ft. Myers, Fla. There was no visitation. Private burial will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery. on July 23, 2008.²

     Daniel James Rosebrock was born on November 26, 1943 at Hamler, Henry Co., Ohio.³ He married Judith Ann Work, daughter of Rev. William Hubbard Work and Anna Jane Reed, on March 6, 1976 at Ohio.^1,2,3 Daniel James Rosebrock died on March 22, 2013 at Springfield, Clark Co., Ohio, at age 69.³ He ROSEBROCK, Daniel J., 69, of Springfield, passed away Friday morning, March 22, 2013 in Essex of Springfield. He was born in Hamler, Ohio on November 26, 1943, the son of Bertram and Juanita (Hoops) Rosebrock. "Dan the Man" retired from General Motors following 25 years of service and later from Navistar after 10 years of service. He previously worked on the railroad in Northern Ohio and Indiana. Dan was a member of the East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where in the past four years, he devoted 70 hours a month in volunteer preaching. He greatly enjoyed bicycle riding and corny jokes. In addition to his mother of Defiance, Ohio, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy A. (Work) Rosebrock; nine children, Hans (Tracy) Rosebrock of Toledo, Ingrid (Mike) Miller of Antwerp, Ohio, Kelly (Chip) Fifer of Antwerp, Jim (Kim) Kizer of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Mark Kizer and his fiance', Stephanie of Toledo, Heather (Seagan) Robinson of Springfield, Jennifer (Tito) Davis of Battle Creek, Michigan, Frieda (Eric) Rose of Battle Creek, and Heidi Rosebrock of Springfield. Also surviving is a sister, Barbara (Charlie) Stephens of Defiance, Ohio and seventeen grandchildren, Whitney, Carissa, Lizabeth, Dominic, Zachary, Abigaille, Olivia, Amelia, Toby, Tao, Ione, Natalie, Levi, Isabella, Ember, Eden, and Reed. on March 24, 2013.³

Hubbard.^1,3 Anna Jane Reed was born on July 24, 1921 at East Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.² She died on April 10, 2003 at Prescott, Yavapai Co., Arizona, at age 81.^2,4,3 She Anna Jane Work died Thursday, April 10, 2003 at home in Prescott, AZ. She is survived by her husband, William H. Work; son, Jonathan Work; daughter, Judith Rose; and daughter-in-law, Dolly Work. Born in Erie County, Pa., he came here 14 years ago from Lomita, Calif, and waa a retired machinist for a railroad. He wes an Army veteran of World War I.      Lavern W. Steward was buried at Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson, Ashtabula Co., Ohio.³ He was born on January 26, 1923 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.^3,2 He married Dorothy Ann Sidley on September 12, 1944 at Ashtabula Co., Ohio.^1,2,9 Lavern W. Steward died on December 3, 2013 at Ashtabula Co., Ohio, at age 90.² He ASHTABULA — L. W. "Buz" Steward, age 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Born Jan. 26, 1923, in Erie, Pa., he was the son of Edwin and Cora Jane (Work) Steward and spent his early years in Conneaut and Ashtabula, Ohio, before the family moved to Jefferson, where he excelled as a hurdler and pole vaulter for the track team. After graduating from Jefferson High, he went to work on the Great Lakes for a year before enlisting in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the Destroyer Escort, USS Coates during World War II. In 1944, he married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy (Dody) Sidley. While working as a draftsman for the city of Ashtabula, he learned how to draw house plans and this became his hobby. He drew the plans for the Kingsville Gazebo, and the Flying Saucer Gas Station, as well as many local plazas. Throughout the fifties and sixties while working his way up to Engineering Supervisor at the Lake Shore, then East Ohio Gas Co., he also owned and operated the Ashtabula Janitorial Service. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church. As an avid painter in oils, his favorite subjects were covered bridges and clipper ships. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lucille Andrews; brothers, Dick and Ernie; and a son, John, and daughter, Julie. Survivors include his wife; and children, Jim (Cindy) and Joel (Jennifer), Jane (Bill Palma), and Jacqueline (David Brais); and grandchildren, Madeline and Halley Steward. Steward, 79, of Madison, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. Mr. Steward passed away Oct. 28, 2006, at Madison Health Care in Madison. He was born April 13, 1927, in Toledo to Cora (Work) and Edwin Steward. Mr. Steward served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Ernie worked for the Painesville Telegraph as a reporter and was Editor of the Geneva Free Press. He then was a writer for the U.S. Army P.S. Magazine for 23 years, retiring in 1987. Survivors are his wife, Janet (Densmore) Steward, whom he married May 29, 1948, in Perry; daughters, Penny (Robert) Peterson of Calif. and Jean (Lewis) Graff of Ida, Mich; grandchildren, Lara, Tonya, Lewis Jr., Eric and Ben; sister, Mary Lucille Andrews of Corvalis, Ore; and brother, Buz Steward of Ashtabula. He was preceded in death his parents; step-mother, Marion Steward; and brother, Richard Steward. on October 29, 2006.⁸

     His Social Security Number was 273-20-0100.³ Richard Godfrey Steward married Delores Marks.⁴ Richard Godfrey Steward was born on July 9, 1930 at Millbury, Wood Co., Ohio.^3,7 He died on March 1, 2000 at Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 69.^3,8,4 He Richard Godfrey Steward, 69, of Charleston, a retired accounting director with the Charleston Naval Shipyard, died March 1 in a local nursing home. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday in McAlister-Smith's Downtown Chapel, according to the Cremation Center of Charleston. Burial will be private. Mr. Steward was born in Millberry, Ohio, a son of Lavern Steward and Jane Work Steward. He was a graduate of The Citadel and received his master's degree from the University of South Carolina. He was founder of the local Institute of Management Accountants. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Surviving are his wife, Delores Marks Steward; a son, Richard L. Steward of Charleston; a daughter, Rhonda L. Steward of Charleston; two brothers, Lavern W. Steward of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Ernest J. Steward of Mattison, Ohio; a sister, Mary Andrews of Corvalis, Ore; and a grandchild. on March 9, 2000.⁴

     Mary Lucile Steward was buried at Oak Lawn Memorial Park, 2245 S.W. Whiteside Drive, Corvallis, Benton Co., Oregon.⁷ She was born on July 30, 1920 at Pennsylvania.^3,8 As of June 22, 1939,her married name was Andrews.² She married Arland Wellington Andrews on June 22, 1939 at Ashtabula Co., Ohio.² Mary Lucile Steward died on May 6, 2013 at Corvallis, Benton Co., Oregon, at age 92.⁷ She Lucile (Mary Lucile) Andrews, of Corvallis since 1965, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 6, 2013. She was 92. Lucile was quite the seamstress in her prior years, mending, altering and even creating her family's clothing. She was born with a "green thumb," and spent countless hours tending her plants and flowers. Often she would rescue plants that friends and neighbors thought surely would die. Barbara Sue, Lucile's daughter, preceded her in death. Mary Lucile is survived by sons, Bill Andrews of Corvallis and Dick Andrews of Mesa, Ariz; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Lucile was a member of First United Methodist Church in Corvallis; the Rev. Jim Philipson will conduct the graveside service at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, at Oaklawn Cemetery. on May 9, 2013.⁷
