     Delores June Hayth Mrs. Dolores June VanBuren, age 68, of 1505 John Tyler Street, Selma, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Mrs. VanBuren was born on September 15, 1938 in Alleghany County, Viriginia. She was the daughter of the late William B. "Barney" Hayth, Jr. and Mary Magdalene Lawlar Hayth. Mrs. VanBuren was a retired Industrial Engineer with the former HO Canfield Company. She attended Epworth United Methodist Church in Selma. Mrs. VanBuren enjoyed flowers and loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. VanBuren is survived by her husband, Harvey Marion VanBuren, Sr. of Selma; one daughter, Dolores Rae Kidd and husband John of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Hollie Rae Booze and Gary Matthew Booze; one sister, Bonnie Petty and husband John of Pasadena, MD; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. VanBuren was preceded in death by her son, Harvey M. VanBuren, Jr. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2006 from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with the Reverend Clyde Weaver and Reverend Mike Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be R.G.      Harvey Marion Van Buren Sr. Harvey Marion VanBuren, Sr., age 81, of 1505 John Tyler Street, Selma, Virginia died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Roanoke. He was born July 21, 1936 in Clifton Forge to the late John and Halsie Norvell VanBuren. He was a retired conductor for CSX Transportation and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He loved the relationship he had with his many friends and family throughout his life. In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores June Hayth VanBuren; a son, Harvey VanBuren, Jr; two sisters, Ruth Hill and Elsie Knight; and two brothers, Johnnie VanBuren and Jimmy VanBuren. He is survived by a daughter, Dolores Rae VanBuren of Roanoke; a brother, Tommy VanBuren and wife Patty of Manassas; two grandchildren, Matthew Booze and Hollie Booze; three great grandchildren, Matthew Booze, Abigail Booze, and Maverick Webb; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Marty Hill. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM in Epworth United Methodist Church in Selma with Reverend Nathan Colwell officiating.4 He was born on July 21, 1936 at Selma, Alleghany Co., Virginia.1,2,4 He married Delores June Hayth, daughter of William Barnett "Barney" Hayth Jr. and Mary Magdalene Lawler, on October 6, 1959 at Selma, Alleghany Co., Virginia.1,3,4 Harvey Marion Van Buren Sr. died on February 10, 2018 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 81.4
