Survivors include his wife Isabel of Clemenceau; a daughter, Thelberta; a brother, Gilbert of Warren, Pa; and a sister, Ellie of Springfield, Ill. on September 22, 1955.2

Burial was in the Loa Cemetery by Springer Funeral Home, Richfield, where Robert Brian offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Jack King, Vance King, Verland King, Orlo Durfey, Allen Durfey and Vorris Stevens. on June 22, 1983.3

Duncan with the Army in Germany and Robert Shelton of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Tucker of Maywood, Calif., and Miss Diana Shelton of Shreveport; five brothers, Francis Shelton and David Shelton, both of Memphis, Mo., Jim Shelton of Burlington, Iowa, Jack Shelton of Independence, Mo., and Donald Shelton of Rising Sun, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Louise Winn of Aurora, Ind., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Wellman’s Funeral Home. on March 20, 1969.1
