He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Elmore was a material handler at General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Euclid for 34 years. Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Geneva; children, Glenda Long of Mentor-on-the-Lake and Otmer (Donna) Elmore of Mentor; grandchildren, Lisa Ferrell, Douglas Lewis Jr., Otmer Elmore Jr., Kristy (Geoff) Snow, and Otis Elmore; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Scotty Ferrell, Elizabeth, Julia and Megan Haffey, Douglas Lewis III and Ariel Elmore. He also leaves his dog, Angel. His brothers, Okey, Omer, Otmer, Orville, and Ord; and sisters, Nellie Moore and Marie Prather, are deceased. He felt most comfortable in a gym participating in and teaching sports. He was a constant guiding hand in his own children's lives. Upon retirement, he started his own real estate business. He was a member of Christ Church United Methodist, Charleston. Surviving, sisters, Mary Margaret McClung and Terry Kessell; children, Gay (Beth) Elmore, Kimberly (Brent) Webster, Michelle (Rusty) Wooton; grandchildren, Ot, Jon, Liddy and Abby Elmore, Justin and Kyle Webster, Katelyn Wooton. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday April 17, at Christ Church United Methodist, Charleston with Rev. Randy Flanagan officiating. She attended Christ Church United Methodist and was a retired schoolteacher and guidance counselor for Kanawha county schools. She attended West Virginia University on a Board of Governors scholarship, earning both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Pavanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sports fan. Her presence will be missed and her memory cherished by all the lives she touched. Surviving to mourn her passing are her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Otmer Gay Elmore Sr; children, Otmer Gay Elmore Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of South Charleston, Kimberly Vanne Elmore Webster and husband, Brent, of Charleston and Michelle Marie Elmore Wooton and husband, Russell, of Beckley; and grandchildren, Ot Elmore, Jon Elmore, Liddy Elmore, Abby Elmore, Justin Webster and Kyle Webster. A private service will be held to celebrate the life of Pavanne. on July 19, 2008.2

Eddy was a loving husband, father, best friend and papaw. Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara Slimick Elmore; son and his wife, John Edward Jr. and Nikia Elmore of Elkview; daughter and her husband, Karen and Rick Messinger of Elkview; brother, Gay Elmore of South Charleston; sisters, Mary Margaret McClung of Tennessee and Terry Kessell; and grandchildren, Madison and Kaylee Messinger and Eliana, Eian and Eliyah Elmore. Pauline "Polly" Schoenberger, age 76, of Sunbury, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, January 12, 2013 surrounded by her family at her residence. Polly was born December 25, 1936, in Webbville, KY, to the late Richard W. and Eva Myrtle (Whitt) Smith. She came to Sunbury in 1942 from Webbville, KY and was a member of True Bible Baptist Church in Marengo. Polly was a workaholic, always providing the best for her family. She enjoyed spending time gardening, growing flowers and mowing the grass. She was a truly wonderful woman who spoiled and babied her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Laureen) Schoenberger of Centerburg; Earnest (Suella) Schoenberger of Fulton; daughter, Sherry Hubbard of Sunbury; brother, J. R. Smith (Betty Hall) of Sunbury; sister-in-law, Roberta Smith of Delaware; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her brother, Elwood Smith and sister, Mavis Welch.2 She was buried at Berkshire Cemetery, Sunbury, Delaware Co., Ohio.2,3 Her married name was Schoenberger.1 She married Earnest M. "Ernie" Schoenberger Sr., son of Arthur Richard Schoenberger and Marie Belva Elmore.1 Pauline "Polly" Smith and Earnest M.
