Roy Lee Dobyns, Route 1, Verona, was found dead about 8:45 a.m. Friday on a site where he was working for M and P Lime Company, south of Monnett. A funeral home spokesman said an autopsy revealed Dobyns had succumbed to complications of the flu. Dobyns, who was a lifelong resident of this area, is survived by his wife Vonetta; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Jenkins and Mrs. Joyce Foster, both of Verona; four brothers, Harlan and Bud, both of Aurora, Henry of Everton, and George of Stevenson, Wash; and two grandsons. Services will be a 2 p.m. Monday in Peterson Chapel, Aurora, with the Rev. H. V. Wells officiating. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora. on January 27, 1973.5

Survivors include her son, Wayne Vineyard and his wife Kim of Wichita, Kansas; son, Russell Vineyard of Washington D.C; grandchildren: Wayne Vineyard, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Argonia, Kansas, Brian Vineyard of Ellsworth, Kansas and Amanda Hernandez of Wichita, Kansas; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Harley Vineyard; seven sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2015 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Nina will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 29th, 2015, in the chapel of Cornejo Day Funeral Home & Crematory, Wellington, Kansas. Interment will follow at the Milan Cemetery near Milan, Kansas. on August 26, 2015.2
