Junior worked as a welder for Roanoke Bridge Works until it closed and at some other area businesses. He was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church on Garden City Boulevard. He loved his blue grass music. Junior leaves to cherish his memory a brother-in-law, Cliff Guilliams; two sisters-in-law, Gatha Webb and Evelyn Webb, all of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two very special friends, Doris and Marlin Guilliams of Roanoke. A service celebrating Junior's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Tim York. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. J on October 6, 2005.4

Cliff served in the United States Army during World War II, was a life member and volunteer for the Roanoke Lifesaving Crew for many years and was the owner and operator of Garden City Motors for over 35 years. Cliff was a friend to everyone he came in contact with and showed his love and compassion to everyone. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Webb (Sis) Guilliams; his granddaughter, Virginia (Ginny) Smiley; his son-in-law, Mason B. Smiley, Jr; his brothers, Alonza, Ralph, Hobert, Elmo, and Lewis Guilliams; his sister, Stella Guilliams. Surviving is his daughter, Lawanna (Wannie) G. Smiley of Roanoke; his sons, David M. Guilliams and wife Marie, Roger L. Guilliams and wife Annie, all of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Sonja Reustle and husband Keith, Heidi and Jessica Guilliams; his great-grandchildren, Amber B. Smiley, Mason S. Smiley, Austin B. Reustle; his brothers, Geno Guilliams of Radcliffe, Ky., Mace Guilliams and wife Ruth of Manchester, Md; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Cecil Kelley. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at Garden City Baptist Church, Monday, January 22, 2007, 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brady Willis and the Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. on January 21, 2007.1
