He is a second father and papa to many. Benny loved children and animals, sports and politics, electric guitar and telling stories. He was a teacher and coach at Steed and Parkview elementary schools before going into sales. He loved his country. He had beautiful eyes. He never met a stranger. He loved Jesus Christ and embodied grace and generosity. He spoiled us. He was amazing. Well done, good and faithful servant! Viewing at Vondel Smith Mortuary on Sunday from 1 – 8, Monday 4 – 8, and Tuesday morning from 9 – 11. Services will be held Tuesday, May 17th, at 1:00 pm at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd. on May 15, 2016.1

Hobbies were dolls, crocheting and gardening. Her flowers were very special to her and giving to others filled her life. She is survived by her devoted husband Jimy "Woody" Woodburn of Clarkdale; one daughter Sue Allen Sands and her husband Charles "Chuck" Sands of Payson, AZ; two sons Charles and wife Kay Allen of Jacksonville, FL and James and wife Dorothy Allen of Loyall, KY; two sisters Billie Merris and Jaque-line Debolt of Van Wert, OH; two brothers Charles Simpson of Van Wert, OH and Harvey Simpson of 29 Palms, CA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held June 19, 2010 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 1 PM. with a reception to follow in the funeral home's reception room. on June 9, 2010.1

Stull, 87, of 28159 St. Rt. 31, Richwood. Mr. Stull, a retired electrical contractor, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at his residence. He had been ill for several years. Born Dec. 28, 1891 in Sudith, Ky., he was a son of Travis and Sally Kendell Stull. Sept. 12, 1912 he married the former Etta Allen. She died in 1970. Surviving are five sons and three daughters; Paul at Jackson; William and Ted, both of Ashland; J.T. at Huntington, Ala; Harmon A., Dowajac, Mich; Ellen Billings of Winston-Salem, N.C; Fern Hillman and Mrs. Roy Reese of Richwood; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family's favorite charity is the Union County Cancer Society. James Travis "J. T." Jim was a dedicated father to three sons, Jim Jr., Terry and Chuck, whom he supported in the scouting program. He was scout master of multiple troops including two simultaneously at Huntsville First Baptist Church. He received the distinguished Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America because of his impact on the lives of many boys through hard work, self-sacrifice, and dedication for many years. He was an excellent golfer and enjoyed playing with his sons up to last year. Jim will be ever greatly admired by his wife, three sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, immediately followed by the funeral service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
