He was a member of the Colville Volunteer Fire Department, the Spokane Volunteer Police Department and the Telephone Pioneers. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia; two sons, Howard Kingsbury of Federal Way, Wash., and Michael Kingsbury of Concord, Calif; six daughters, Karol Price and Julie Williams, both of Spokane, Mary Mueller of Deer Park, Ruth Bennette and Patricia Hagen, both of Portland, and Eileen Harris of North Bend, Wash; a brother, John Kingsbury of Battle Ground; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane. on April 29, 2004.4
