In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Charles Pinkney Conley. She is survived by her son, Shawn Conley and wife Kathy of Granite Falls; her daughter, Sabra Jenkins of Granite Falls. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Mackie Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. The service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor David King officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery.¹ She was born on December 25, 1940 at Caldwell Co., North Carolina.¹ As of circa 1964,her married name was Conley.¹ She married Charles Pinkney Conley circa 1964.¹ Willa Dean Estes died on October 15, 2015 at Granite Falls, Caldwell Co., North Carolina, at age 74.¹

She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Born November 10, 1922 in Haywood County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband's -- Albert Hamby, John J. Price and two brothers Glen and Tommy; two sisters Marie Johnson and Evelen Ledbetter; one granddaughter Vicky Hamby.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughter's; Peggy Cannon and husband Ervin of Hudson, NC and Doris Hicks and husband David of Hudson, NC; her two son's James Hamby and wife Kyong-Hi of Granite Falls, NC and Tony Hamby and wife Joyce of Colletsville, NC; one sister JoAnn Dameron of Lenoir, NC and one brother Frankie Price of Granite Falls, NC. Ms. Price is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Ms. Price was a member of Granite Falls Church of God. She served for many years as a Sunday School Teacher, and president of the Willing Workers. She also cleaned the church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Granite Falls Church of God with the Rev. Michael Vandenburg and Rev. Dennis Pitts officiating.
