Surviving are three sons, George of West Asheville, Doyce of Skyland and Ed Todd of Hendersonville; seven daughters, Mrs. Mary Crawford of Warren, Mich. and Mrs. Lucy Cole, Mrs. Alma Cox, Mrs. Martha Fulghum, Mrs. Clara Jones, Mrs. Lillian Taylor and Mrs. Lola Powers, all of Asheville; a brother, Charlie Creasman of Skyland; five sisters, Mrs. Lillie Sharpe of Asheville, Mrs. Dorothy Goodlake of Arden, Mrs. Margaret Tunkin of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Elmma Jones and Mrs. Hazel Brown, of Skyland; 43 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1l a.m. Friday in Biltmore Holiness Temple, of which she was a member. The Revs. G. A. McCurry and Joseph Phillips will officiate. Burial wlll be in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday at Wilhams Funeral Home, where the body will remain until placed in the church an hour prior to the services. on June 24, 1971.4

She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and worked briefly in the warplane division during World War II in Michigan. She was also a member of the American War Mother's Chapter In Asheville. Mrs. Crawford is survived by her son, Henry S. Crawford Jr., of West Palm Beach, Fla; daughers and son-in-law, Nelle and Art Krocke of Crystal River, Fla., Ruth Jenkins of Troy, Mich., and Betty Jean Shelton of Asheville; a brother, Edwin Todd of Hendersonville; sisters, Martha Fulgum, Ullian Taylor and Lola Powers, all of Asheville and Clara Jones of Quitman, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchlldren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral srvices will be held at 11 a.m. Monday In the chapel of Williams Funeral Service with Bill Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. on November 21, 1998.9
