Mrs. Ellis was born November 20, 1916 in Caldwell County to Charles and Ida McNeil Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Chelsie Hughes Ellis, two sons; Jesse Wayne Ellis and Royce Jones Ellis, one sister; Lucille Elledge, and one brother; Wayne Jones. She is survived by one daughter: Linda Huffman and husband, Joe of Wilkesboro, one son; Chelsie Charles Ellis and wife Sue of North Wilkesboro, one daughter-in-law; Peggy Ellis of North Wilkesboro, one brother; A.E. Hamby, seven grandchildren; Eric Ellis, Cathy Ellis, Steven Charles Ellis, Keith Thomas Huffman, Patricia Huffman Shacklette, Jeff Ellis and Derek Royce Ellis, 8 great grand-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.      Fayenetta “Faye” Ellis was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.¹ She Faye Ellis Peters, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Islamorada, Florida on April 17, 2011. Faye was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on May 6, 1920 to the late Jesse Franklin Ellis and Kinsa Octavia Foster. She married William Peters in 1946 and moved to Norristown, Pennsylvania. As William's health deteriorated, they moved to Pembroke Pines, Florida in 2006. After celebrating 62 years of marriage, William passed away in 2008. After his death, Faye moved into the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Carl Geuther in Islamorada, Florida. Faye was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norristown and the Radiant Chapter #96, Order of the Eastern Star in Norristown. She also attended and received spiritual comfort from the Coral Isles Church in Islamorada. She is survived by: her daughter, Carole Geuther and husband, Carl of Islamorada, FL; her son William James Peters and wife, Deborah of Limerick, Pennsylvania: five grandchildren, Jeffrey Geuther, Lisa Power and her husband, Todd, Marcia Coleman and her husband Seth, Sharon Geuther, and Christy Peters; two great grandchildren, Beckett Power and Anasara Coleman. She also has an extended and loving family from Wilkes County, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Prayer Chapel in Wilkesboro, NC at 11 AM, Saturday, April 23. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Prayer Chapel.      William Joseph Peters Mr. William Joseph Peters, age 84, of Pembroke Pines, FL, formerly of Norristown, PA died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held 11:00, Monday, July 28, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Brown officiating. Inurnment with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars 1142 and Masonic Rites by Mt. Pleasant Masonic Lodge #573 will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Peters was born in Philadelphia, PA, April 15, 1924, to William C. and Hazel Sims Peters. He served in US Army during World War II and fought valiantly in the Pacific. Mr. Peters was a devoted member of Norristown Lodge #620 F and A M, serving as the Worshipful Master in 1974-1975. He also served as secretary of the lodge for 15 years. He was a carpenter until his retirement in 1982. Mr. Peters was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norristown. He dedicated his life to being a loving husband and a devoted father. His wit, loving nature, strong opinions and many interests will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peters was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Peters. Mr. Peters is survived by his wife of 62 years, Fayenetta Ellis Peters, formerly of Wilkes County; one daughter, Carole Geuther and husband, Carl of Tavernier, FL; one son, Jim Peters and wife, Debbie of Limerick, PA; one sister, Margaret Shappell of Royersford, PA; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lisa, Marcia, Sharon, and Christy.² He was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He was born on April 15, 1924 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.² He married Fayenetta “Faye” Ellis, daughter of Jesse Franklin Ellis and Kinsa Octavia Foster, in 1946.^1,2 William Joseph Peters died on July 20, 2008 at Pembroke Pines, Broward Co., Florida, at age 84.²
