     Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hogue Thomas J. Hogue, 77, a long time resident of Purdell and McClain county, died Monday at his home in Purcell. He had been in failing health for some time. He was a native of Pauls Valley but had live most of his life in this area. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Yoakum Memory Chapel, with Rev. George Payne officiating. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Minnie, of the home; two brothers, Luthers, Antlers, Lester, Portersville, Calif; four sisters, Mrs. Ettie Spangler, Dibble; Mrs. Marve Smalley, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Annie Walker, Pocasset; and Mrs. Lector Ard, Weatherford, Texas. Pall bearers were; Joe Aday, Lawrence Mantooth, Earnest Julian, Knox Murrell, Chuck pritchett, and Ozie Weaver.² He was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma.² He was born on July 17, 1890 at Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.^2,3 He married Minnie T. Spangler, daughter of Joseph Monroe Spangler and Rebecca Ellen "Becky" Poff, on January 22, 1911 at Seminole Co., Oklahoma.^1,2 Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hogue died in January, 1967 at Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma, at age 76.^2,3

He was born December 12, 1928 in Coatesville, PA. Serving in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement, he then went to work for NSA. He was a Past Commander of American Legion Post #226. Les was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Poff. He is survived by his son, Roy Poff of Grifton, NC; his daughters, Judy Carr of Davidsonville and Darcy Poff of Annapolis; his brother, Raymond Poff of Glen Burnie; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Inurnment at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, or the Salvation Army. on November 3, 2013.³

She and her husband, Brownie, enjoyed nature and traveling in their camper van. She enjoyed photography, hunting and the beautiful view out their front window up on the side of a mountain. Private interment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park. on May 4, 2015.²

     Melvyn David McNamara was buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Denver Co., Colorado.^1,2 He was born on December 12, 1938 at Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,1,2 He married Carolyn Jeanne Benes on April 24, 1965 at Adams Co., Colorado.⁷ Melvyn David McNamara died on June 14, 2015 at Colorado at age 76.^1,2

     Hallie Loretta McNamara Loretta McNamara Kelly Laspina, 79, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at home with her family by her side. She was born on March 8, 1940, in Princeton, WV, the daughter of the late Donald W. McNamara and Lena P. Poff. Loretta graduated in 1958 from Mullens High School and in 1963 from Concord College with a BA in Business Education. She taught at Gary High School and Matoaka High School. She worked as a realtor for Century 21, and as an agent for Prudential Insurance in Beckley. Later she worked as a temp for WVU and spent 16 years with the FBI in Clarksburg from which she retired in 2009. She loved gardening and bird watching, and she loved spending time with her family. Loretta is survived by her daughter, Cindy McVey of Morgantown; son, Scott Kelly and wife, Carrie, of Morgantown, and son, Steve Kelly and companion, Connie Humphries Caron, of Beckley; six grandchildren: Wesley McVey and wife, Nicole Watkins, Sean McVey and wife, Nicole Golden, Jake Kelly, Jessie Kelly, Conner Kelly, and Payton Kelly; and five great grandchildren: Rilee Arbuthnot, Lily McVey, Thorin McVey, Declan McVey, and Saoirse McVey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Milajean Brown and Freda McNamara, and brother, Melvyn McNamara. The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to the employees of Amedysis Hospice Care for their extraordinary care of Loretta. The following persons with whom we dealt frequently were Emily Crow, Robin Nichols, and Danielle Watkins. We also owe thanks to Avery Burrell, Kaitlyn Morrison, Cathy Morrison, and Amanda Morrison for providing in home care. Special thanks and love to Betty Jo Edgell who went above and beyond being a caregiver.      Jessie Pearl Sullivan was buried at Smithville Memorial Cemetery, 1st Street and Highway 169, Smithville, Clay Co., Missouri.¹ She was born in 1914 at Missouri.^3,1 As of November 14, 1936,her married name was Poff.² She married William Arthur Poff, son of Alva Joseph Poff and Alma H. Hawkins, on November 14, 1936 at Clay Co., Missouri.² Jessie Pearl Sullivan died in 1996.¹
