     William Clinton "Bill" Ingold was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Burlington, Alamance Co., North Carolina.2 He ELON - Mr. William Clinton "Bill" Ingold, 85, of 3006 Sunningdale Court, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Malcom C. Ingold Sr. and the late Ida Powell Ingold and was married for over 60 years to Mrs. Mary Lee Latta Ingold, who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill started Burlington Lincoln-Mercury in 1964 and later expanded with Burlington Honda and Bill Ingold Mazda where, along with being owner and President, he served on numerous dealership councils and committees. He was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church, attended Peoples Memorial Christian Church and was involved in the Masons and the Shriners. He was formerly a board member of the Baptist Children's Home and Past President of and Board Member Emeritus of the Alamance Community College Foundation, served on the board of the Alamance County YMCA for over 30 years and was currently on the Community Savings and Loan/Capital Bank Board. Mr. Ingold is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Cynthia Willets and husband Gene, of Burlington; son, Daryl Ingold and wife Kim, of Gibsonville; two grandchildren, Lauren Michelle Willets and Matthew Clinton Willets; a sister-in-law, Linda Latta of Burlington; a brother-in-law, Natt Yancy of Durham; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nellie Stout; and three brothers, Malcom C. "Cotton" Ingold Jr., Gurney Fogleman and Elmer Fogleman. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. J.L. Williams. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home and at other times at the residence. Mr. Ingold's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Hospice Home and his caregivers, especially Mandy Melvin, Jo Foust, Michelle Kimrey, Brittany Brackett and Nicole Davis, for the loving and generous care given to Bill during his illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the YMCA of Alamance County, 1346 S. Main Street, Burlington, NC 27215, the Alamance Community College Foundation, P.O. Amanda Gail Webster, 17, died Friday at UNC Hospitals. She was a rising senior at Enloe. Jennifer Leigh Webster, Amanda's sister, said the teenager was injured in a collision as she drove to school. She turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle near New Bern Avenue. She was a patient at Wake Medical Center for three weeks, then was transferred to UNC Hospitals for treatment of internal bleeding. Jennifer Leigh Webster said her sister loved to dance to country music and was "a regular kid." "She really liked to talk on the phone and be with her friends. She was a typical 17-year-old," she said. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church in Raleigh. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park. In addition to her sister, Amanda Gail Webster is survived by her parents, Steven "Buddy" and Natalie Y. Webster; a step-sister, Crystal Webster Layton of Wendell; and her maternal grandparents, Nat and Mildred Yancey of Rougemont. on June 24, 1996.5
