King of Gretna; one sister-in-law, Delia Hamlett; and seven grandchildren, Christopher Chaka, Keith Barley, Sarah, Timothy, Cameron, Caitlin, and Riley Hall. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar, Herman, and Woodrow Barley. A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Finch & Finch Chapel by his daughter, Eva Hall. Interment followed at Altavista Memorial Park. Finch & Finch Inc. Funeral and Cremation Service, Altavista, was in charge of the arrangements. on January 12, 2005.⁹
