He was a former member of the Lynchburg Church of Christ where he was active as a Sunday School teacher and an Elder for many years. Roy was a mechanic and driver with Lynchburg Bus Service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald Lee Myers and his wife, Judy, of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Richard (Rick) Scott Myers and his wife, Pam, of Concord: one daughter, Delores M. Todd and her husband, Wayne, of Hampton; one brother, Berckley Myers of Nuttsville and one sister, Frances Rolek of Springhill, MD; two grandchildren, Donna Conway and Tracy Baldwin and her husband, Terry; two great grandchildren, Rachel and Michelle Baldwin. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Eure, Rev. Clyde Dalton and the Rev. Paul Mason with burial in Liberty Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorials are asked to consider the Concord Rescue Squad, PO Box 48, Concord, 24538. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. on September 29, 2004.5
