Funeral services were held at the graveside at Virginia Memorial Park on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Eure and the Rev. Johnny Hartless officiating. Military honors were provided by American Legion Post # 16. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford. on September 16, 2009.³
