Born in Lynchburg on March 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Simons Fitzpatrick. She was a graduate of Holy Cross Academy, class of 1939, retired from General Electric and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Mays and her husband, Steve, of Lynchburg; a son, Thomas W. Coleman and his wife, Connie, of Jacksonville, N.C; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
