     Rochelle "Shelly" Graham was born on July 10, 1940 at Los Angeles Co., California.² As of January 24, 1964,her married name was Smith.¹ She married Charles Wilbur Smith, son of Harold Devarold Smith and Virginia Florence Gardner, on January 24, 1964 at Clark Co., Nevada.¹ Rochelle "Shelly" Graham and Charles Wilbur Smith were divorced in September, 1969 at Orange Co., Virginia.³ Rochelle "Shelly" Graham died in October, 1991 at Nevada at age 51.⁴

     Robert John Dill Robt. J. Dill Meets Death In Auto Accident - The sad news was received here Saturday evening that Robt. Dill, traveling salesman for the Illinois South Electric Co., of East St. Louis, had been killed in an auto accident near Jerseyville. He was enroute home at the time and was about one mile south of Jerseyville, on U. S. Route 67, when his car collided into the rear of a wagon hitched to a tractor and being driven by Roy Stephens, a farmer of the Jerseyville community. Neither men were apparently injured and they were standing on the side of the road discussing the accident when an automobile drive by LaVern Jennings of Jerseyville approached. In his attempt to avoid hitting the wrecked vehicles, Jennings swerved off onto the shoulder of the pavement, hitting both men, Mr. Dill died before he reached the St. Joseph hospital in Alton, where both men were taken. At last reports Mr. Stephens' condition was favorable. Before the wreckage could be cleared away a third auto driven by Robt. Little of Wood River crashed into it, and a few moments later a Trailway bus operated by Robt. Dunlevy, Jr., of Jacksonville, hit the three cars, wagon and tractor. None of the 37 passengers on the bus were injured. The remains of Mr. Dill were brought to the Cunningham-Dieterle Funeral Home in Winchester, where they remained until the hour of the funeral services which were at nine o'clock Tuesday morning, at St. Mark's church, Rev. Fr. J. J. Sullivan officiated and burial was in the Catholic cemetery. The floral offerings were cared for by Mrs. Audrey Lashmet, Mrs. Ralph Peak, Miss Nellie Roosa, Miss Bellby Leach, Mrs. Russell Forshey, Mrs. Herman Flynn, Mrs. Jesse Saffer and Mrs. T. S. Stewart. The casket bearers were Carl Blank, Edw. Cooke, Altho Wilkens, Harold Shaw, Russell Forshey and Stanley Faris. Honorary casket bearers were Jesse Saffer, B.F. Walker, Herbert Leib, Ralph Peak, Dr. Paul Garrison and Ratio Gregory. Robt. J. Dill, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dill, was born in Winchester, Feb. 21, 1909. He attended the Winchester school, graduating from the high school in 1927. He was married to Katherine Frederick, who with three sons, Robt. Frederick, student at University of California, Claude Allan and Thomas Edward, both at home, survive. He is also survived by two brothers, Richard of Quincy and Chas. Dill of Bloomington. Deceased was a member of St. Mark's church.² He was buried at Saint Mark's Cemetery, Winchester, Scott Co., Illinois.² He was born on February 21, 1909 at Winchester, Scott Co., Illinois.^1,2 He married Kathryn Frederick, daughter of Claude W. Frederick and Ruth Edna Gray, on February 5, 1929 at Winchester, Scott Co., Illinois.^1,2 Robert John Dill died on November 8, 1947 at Jerseyville, Jersey Co., Illinois, at age 38.^1,2

Mr. Furrow died Jan. 4. The cause of death was not available. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Eleanor Arnold Furrow; two daughters, Karen Lee Jester and Sharon Lynn Bahr; one brother, Alfred E. Furrow; and four grandchildren. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1041 Route 3 N., Gambrills, MD 21054. on January 7, 2006.²

He passed away on July 24, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. John was a longtime resident of San Pedro, CA and chose to live his golden years in sunny Palm Desert, CA, with his loving wife, Shirley. Born of Italian descent, John entered this world on March 15, 1925 in Rochester, NY. After graduating from Monroe High School in 1940, he attended the famous Eastman School of Music where he studied trumpet. He then joined the Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he sang with the big band of famed violinist Joe Venuti. He them met his first wife, Ellen Leigh; they were married and had 3 children. He sang in small nightclubs until he got noticed by Frank Sinatra in the late 1950s. He was then signed with Reprise Records where he recorded several albums. He then relocated his family to Las Vegas where he had the great privilege of working with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr. and many other greats. He worked the Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada circuit for many years. He had a very good life and was living his dream. He had a great career and a family that he loved very much. After traveling for years, he worked small nightclubs that were local, since he did not want to keep uprooting his children. He worked locally at the Del Rae Club, Fullerton, Gallaretos, Peppy's, both in Torrance and San Pedro. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Leigh Profeta and his second wife, Shirley Ann Profeta. John is survived by his three children, Lee Ann Marinkovich (Vince), John Profeta, Jr. and Melissa Prophet; brother, Joseph Profeta, Jr; sisters, Janet Roehlk and Sheryl Stevens; grandchildren, Anthony Marinkovich (Lilly), John Marinkovich (Kristen), Vinnie Marinkovich, Chris Profeta (Rebecca) and Shaun Profeta; as well as his great-grandchildren, Lauren Marinkovich, Liam Marinkovich and Jaden John Marinkovich; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many fans and mostly by his family. One thing is most comforting, "We will always have his music." "But now he is singing to Jesus." Private services were held. on July 31, 2012.²
