     Audrey Blanche Hancock Audrey Hancock King, September 30th, 1936 - March 17th, 2024. Audrey Blanche King, 87, of Roanoke, passed away, Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Star City Rehab and Nursing. She is survived by her son, Doug King and wife, Kathy; daughter, Diane Bouldin; five grandchildren, Jessica King, Erin Ferguson, Michelle Hayden, Jason King and Joshua King; 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews including a special niece, Debbie Kavanaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Richard Hancock and Lacey McGuire Hancock; her husband, Milton Delano King; son, Richard “Dickie” King and sister, Marie Cornelius. Audrey was a lifelong resident of Roanoke. She retired from K-Mart as a bookkeeper and merchandiser with over 25 years of service. She loved travelling and enjoyed going to the beach with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park.2 She was buried at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Ave SW, Roanoke, Virginia.2 She was born on September 30, 1936 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 As of July 25, 1953,her married name was King.1 She married Milton Delano King, son of Charles Blount "Charlie" King and Lorraine Norine "Mattie" Milton, on July 25, 1953 at Roanoke, Virginia.1 Audrey Blanche Hancock died on March 17, 2024 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 87.2
