She was also preceded in death by a son, Luther Lykins; a daughter, Carline Jean Lykins; grandson, Patrick Fannin; two sisters, Lorraine Dick and Margaret Vance; and four brothers, Jerry Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, Harold Taylor and William Taylor. Survivors include four daughters, Sue Anne Kees Hudson and husband, Henry, of Minden, Brenda Jarrell of Oak Hill, Karen Fannin of Oak Hill and Lisa Scanlan and husband, John, of Chicago, Ill; a son, Larry Wayne Taylor; a sister, Jane Flint and husband, Butch, of Sophia; and a brother, Bubbie Smith and wife, Lucy, of Oak Hill. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Carlos Lewis and the Rev. Charles Pittman officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery. on January 23, 2008.2

     Roy Myron Littrel Roy Myron Littrel was born June 30, 1934, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Ivan Henry and Lilly Pearl (Snyder) Littrel. He attended the first grade at Sunny Side School south of Wauneta, NE, and then second through twelfth grades at Wauneta Public Schools, graduating in 1953. Roy married Shirley Ann Sinner on March 25, 1956, at her parent's home in Wauneta, Ne. Roy and Shirley made their home on the Littrel family Farm, five miles south of Hamlet, Nebraska, for several years before moving to a rented farm about five miles southwest of Palisade, Nebraska. The couple farmed near Palisade until making Wauneta their permanent home. Roy farmed along with working on a road gang near Atwood, KS. He was employed two winters placing river jacks in the Frenchman River. Roy worked for Emerson Schwenk, farming and feeding cattle before joining Wauneta Public Schools as head custodian. He worked for the school system for eight years before becoming disabled. Roy enjoyed the out-of-doors; fishing, hunting, and gardening. Working wood on a lathe was a favorite hobby along with making fishing lures and weights with Shirley. He specially loved spending time with his boys and grandchildren. Roy passed away, Saturday, February 16th, at the Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was 78 years of age. Survivors Include: Sons: Jamie Littrel and wife, Liz, of Lincoln, NE., Jerry Littrel and wife, Sharon, of Davenport, NE., Brent Littrel of Hastings, NE., Troy Littrel of Wauneta, NE., 7 Grandchildren: Robert Littrel and wife, Kylene, of Thedford, NE; Tiffeny Bentch and husband, Israel, of North Aurora, IL; Shiloh Littrel and wife, Becky, of Falls City, NE; April Littrel of Lincoln, NE; Seth Littrel of Hastings, NE; Tanner Littrel of, Hastings, NE; and Jenna (Littrel) Kulwicki of Hastings, Ne; 11 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Rosemary Darsa of Rockville, MD., Virginia Krausnick of Benkelman, NE., Brother: Virgil Littrel and wife, Connie, of Palisade, NE., Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Dorothy Frecks and Husband, Leonard, of Elkhorn, NE; and Gloria And Lloyd Sinner, of Wauneta, NE. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Shirley in 2012, and Granddaughter; Ashley (Littrel) Kulwicki. Memorial services for Roy Littrel will be held Saturday morning, March 2, 2013, 10:30 A.M. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta, with Rev. Randy Hayes officiating. A private family inurnment will occur at a later date. No Visitation, cremation was chosen.3 He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, Chase Co., Nebraska.4 He was born on June 30, 1934 at Imperial, Chase Co., Nebraska.3 He married Shirley Ann Sinner on March 25, 1956 at Wauneta, Chase Co., Nebraska.3,5 Roy Myron Littrel died on February 16, 2013 at Lincoln, Lancaster Co., Nebraska, at age 78.3
