Ellsworth, 29, of Brighton died Sunday, June 19, 2005, in his home. Services were today at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Lupton. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton was in charge of arrangements. He was born on May 8, 1976, in Kearney, Neb., to Larry and Carol (Beck) Ellsworth. On May 15, 2001, he married Casey Smith in Boulder. Survivors include his wife; children, Kyler and Jay of Brighton; his parents; and brothers, Scott of Denver and Mark of Colorado Springs. He graduated from high school in Kearney in 1994 and attended Metro State College in Denver on a soccer scholarship. He was an all-state athlete in two sports in high school. The couple lived in Boulder before moving to Fort Lupton and then to Brighton for the last three years. He owned and operated Solutions Consulting Computer Outsourcing IT firm in Brighton for five years. He loved trips to Las Vegas, hiking in the mountains and being outdoors. He loved his family very much — especially his children. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Fort Lupton. Memorials are suggested to a fund for his children at: Kirk Ellsworth Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Colorado, 111 S. Rollie Ave., Fort Lupton, CO 80621. on June 22, 2005.1
