Mitchell United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wythe Co., Virginia.2 She was born on July 31, 1931.3 As of circa 1955,her married name was Hurst.2 She married Eugene Seldon "Tuney" Hurst, son of Jesse Crockett Hurst Sr. and Margaree Lindsey, circa 1955.1,2 Virginia Louise Baker died on June 1, 2007 at Virginia at age 75.3,2 She Virginia Louise Baker Hurst, 75, of Wytheville, died Friday, June 1, 2007. She was the daughter of the late William Clark and Coral Jordon Baker. She was a member of Holy Advent Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Ann Frye, three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene S. Hurst of Wytheville; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Wolhfert of Bedford, Dorothy Bratton of Pulaski, Ila and David Haulsee of Rural Retreat; son, Robert E. Hurst of Wytheville; brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Bonnie Baker of Florida; special niece, Dreama Croft of Texas; son-in-law, Carson Frye of Wytheville; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. at Holy Advent Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Harvey Atkinson with the interment in Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. or at the home of her daughter, Ila Haulsee, Rural Retreat, at anytime. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Advent Lutheran Church, 3570 West Lee Highway, Wytheville, VA. 24382 or Mt. Mitchell Cemetery Fund, C/O Doris Umberger. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. on June 3, 2007.2

The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. on January 27, 2002.3
