A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery. Born March 28, 1924, in Rockingham County, Mr. Hundley was retired from Stoneville Furniture Company and farming. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Easter Hundley; parents, James Walter and Lillar Manring Hundley; brothers, Collie, Cyrus, Bouge, and Hassell Hundley; sisters, Mamie Holt, Mary Hill, Mattie Bullins, Rosie Plaster, Ruby Chaney, and Nina Ore. Survivors include his son, James Danny Hundley; daughter, Charlotte Ann Hundley, all of Stoneville; granddaughter, Carla Watkins and husband, David; and grandchildren, James Hunter, Caroline Grey, and Hannah Lea Watkins. The family will receive friends Sunday following the graveside service at the cemetery. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family. on September 17, 2011.2

He belonged to Local No. 245 Bakery, Confectionary and Tobacco Union, and for over 20 years he worked in the Carving Booth at the Kansas State Fair. He served in the U.S. Army, serving at Italy. On Aug. 30, 1958, he married Nancy M. Somers at Lincoln. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Curtis R. Jr., Hutchinson; two daughters, Keyna Kienzle and Debbie Symonds, both of Hutchinson; two brothers, Bill, Roanoke, Va., and Ralph, Salem, Va; three sisters, Elaine Quisenberry, Floyd, Va., Catheryn Stuphin, Martinsville, Va., and Margie Morris, Blacksburg, Va; and six grandchildren, Loyal Ray, Kacie and Jessica Kienzle, and Shannon, Tyler and Jemmie Symonds. Graveside service will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with military graveside rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. on September 19, 2005.7
