     Teresa Lynn Weaver was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2 She was born on August 29, 1948 at West Virginia.2 She died on December 29, 1955 at South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 7.2 She Word has been received by Herman Howell of the death of his niece, Teresa Lyn Weaver, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Weaver Jr. of South Charleston, West Va. Teresa's mother, the former Louise Dunn was a Carnegie high school graduate of 1942. Teresa was preparing to take a bath, Wednesday, Dec. 28, when a radiant heater in the bathroom set her new night clothing on fire. The resulting third degree burns that covered most of her body proved fatal the next day. Survivors in addition to her parents are a brother, Eugene, at home; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Weaver Sr. of South Charleston; her maternal grandparents, Mrs. Louise Dunn, of Denver; and Charles B. Dunn, of Clarksville, Texas; and her uncle, Herman Howell, of Carnegie. on January 18, 1956.1

     Mattie Mae Hannah Mattie Mae Weaver Saxton, 85, of South Charleston, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a former surgical technician for Southern Hills Hospital and later for Pick Memorial Hospital. Mattie was a longtime member of the Southwest Church of God. She was a native of Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Thomas Weaver, son, Dennis Ray Weaver, granddaughter, Allison Weaver, grandson, Brian Lee Weaver, brothers, Everett and Sherman Hannah and sisters, Eva Shawkey and Norma McMillion. Surviving are her sons, Russell T. Weaver of Hurricane and Richard Weaver of South Charleston; sisters, Virginia Dragony of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary Gee of Kincaid. Also surviving are grandchildren, Russell Alan Weaver, Richard Chad Weaver, Matthew Thomas Weaver, Alex Cameron Weaver and Austin Lee Weaver and great grandchildren, Chase and Chance Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister officiating. He was a chemical operator for FMC with 25 years' service, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a lifelong resident of the Kanawha Valley. Surviving: wife, Nancy Birmingham Weaver; son, Russell Alan Weaver of Romulus, Mich; mother, Mattie Weaver Saxton of South Charleston; brothers, Russell T. Weaver of Hurricane, Richard Weaver of South Charleston; grandchild, Chance Brian Weaver. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor David McCormick officiating.
