Ralph O. Nester. He is survived by his wife, Cova LePhew; his daughter and spouse, Melissa and Kenny; his sons and their spouses, Michael and Shirley, Donald and Leita, Tony and Robin; grandchildren, Michael Paul, Heather, Jessie, Franklin, Austin (Sparky), Kenny and Maria; mother-in-law, Sadie Frances Nester; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Shirley Terry, James and Marilyn Kain, Wayne Nester, also numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. J. P. Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Churchill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. on April 5, 1996.²

She was a retired cake decorator having worked for Kroger for nearly 15 years. She also enjoyed playing the piano at the Body of Christ Church in Salem where her late husband had pastored. Preceding her in death were her parents, the Rev. Ralph and Sadie Nester; husband, the Rev. Paul H. LePhew ; and children, Oren and Stephanie. Her surviving family includes her children, Gary, Michael (Shirley), Donald (Terry), Tony, and Melissa (Keith); 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley, Arlene, and Wayne. A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A Funeral Service will then begin at 2 p.m., also in the chapel, with the Rev. Michael Collins officiating. Interment will be private. on June 27, 2012.²
