Prather, daughter of Charles Crawford Prather and Dora Matilda Hulings, on March 15, 1947 at Titusville, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania.^1,4 Andrew Joseph Giewont died on February 1, 1977 at Titusville, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania, at age 62.^1,5,4 He Andrew J. Giewont, 62, of 339 E. Central Ave., Titusville, died Tuesday in Titusville Hospital. Born Aug 2, 1914, in Fayette County, he was a son of Albert and Mary Zionce Giewont. Mr. Giewont had been employed as a machinist at Grand Valley Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1976. He previously worked for Struthers Wells for 22 years. He was a member of St. Titus Church and the Titusville UNA. Surviving are his mother, who resides in Saegertown; his wife, the former Della Prather, two sons, CPO Vincent A. Giewont of Norfolk, Va., and Neil P. Giewont, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Victoria) Boyle of Hydetown and Catherine, wife of Sgt. Edward Schneider of Ramstein, Germany; five brothers, John of Erie, Albert of Erie, Michael of Wattsburg, Stanley of Saegertown and Charley of Crossingville; two sisters, Mary McLaughlin of Erie and Pauline Rutkowski of Wesleyville, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Josephine Kolar, who died in 1944; his father, who died in 1958; two brothers, Joseph and Frank, and two sisters, Agnes Cora and Annette Karpie. on February 2, 1977.⁴
