He leaves behind his beloved daughter Isabella and his beloved partner Sherri Almond, aunts and uncles, Linda and John Langland Sue and Ken Lampert, Lylene Phillips and Joni Brunson, sister Sheridan and two nephews, along with many cousins. Michael was born in Novato, March 11, 1965, graduated San Marin High School, attended San Diego and San Jose State and graduated Sonoma State University. He made his home in Rohnert Park California, but loved visiting Amador County where his parents live. His neighbors in Rohnert Park became part of his family. Michael mentored many young people and was a good son, a good man and a great father. He will be dearly missed. on May 15, 2022.2

Surviving him are his wife, formerly Miss Mary Graham of Floyd; father and mother; a brother, Stanley Coffey, of Radford; two sisters, Miss Marjorie Coffey, of North Carolina, and Mrs. Bessie Burnette, of Staunton; and three half-sisters, Mrs. D. M. Hoover and Mrs. W. R. DeHart, of Radford, and Mrs. Hattie Radcliffe, of Oklahoma. on December 1, 1938.4

Brenda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Basham; children, Edwina Basham Viar (Garry Allen Viar), John Basham (Sheila), Paul Basham, II; grandchildren, TJ Thomas John Beche, Robert Michael Beche (Sharon), Garry Allen Viar, Jr. (Kaelin), Sarah Gayle Viar, James Michael Basham (Danielle), Trevor Thomas Basham (Michelle), and Brian Seth Basham; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann, Sherry, and Jackie McGuyer; and step-mom, Jeanette. Brenda will be remembered for her big heart, her strength, and her yummy biscuits. She loved hummingbirds and dogs and had a laugh that was contagious. She will be so missed.
