     Anthony J. Lencer was buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Crown, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.2 He Anthony J. Lencer (Tony), 80, of Crown, PA, died suddenly at his residence Monday, October 14, 2019. He was born in Halton, PA, on June 13, 1939. He was the son of the late Michael and Barbara Sheronovich Lencer. He attended North Clarion School High School and served in Korea with the US Army from 1962-1965. He worked in partnership with his brother Henry Lencer at the Esso Station in Leeper, PA, for many years. He spent the last fourteen years driving school bus for Muccio Transportation. He was a member of the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department and served as chief for seventeen years. He also was a driver for the Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and recently earned his 4th degree. He was an active member of Saint Mary's Church in Crown, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking, and making his famous soups which he loved to share with those around him. On November 11, 1967, at St. Mary Catholic Church he married the former Irene Smith who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Toni (Brian) Bauer of Lucinda PA, and Mary (George) Cory of Summerville Georgia, and two grandchildren Taylor and Trey Bauer of Lucinda PA, along with five siblings, Pauline Starkey of Ohio, Henry (Cathy) Lencer, Francis (Dolores) Lencer, and Barbara Karg all of Crown, and Teresa (Larry) Cyphert of Dubois. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Rudolph, Sister Josephine, Michael, Joseph, Katherine, Rosie, Angeline, and Mary. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law and best friend George Karg and brother-in-law Joe Clark. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper, PA. Military Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 66 on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown, PA with the Rev. Christopher Barnes, pastor, as celebrant. Mr. Bowen retired from U.S. Steel as a heavy equipment mechanic after 40 years of service. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion and NRA. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Hubert Nolen officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. He was 82 years of age. Born on February 9, 1934 in Scotch Hill, Clarion County, he was the son of the late Francis X. and Catherine A. (Smith) Gabler. He served his county as a member of the United States Army as a Military Police officer stationed in Vicenza, Italy. In 2001, he married Sandra Lee Gabler who survives. They enjoyed 15 loving years together. He was a member of the American Riders Bike Club and enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and going to yard sales, and Sandy's cinnamon rolls. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kevin Gabler and wife Christinia, of Fryburg, and Lane Gabler; four step-children, Kathy Felmlee and husband Denny, of Madison, NC, Rebecca Blake and husband Terry, of Strattanville, William Wolbert and wife Shelby, of Clarion, and Matthew Wolbert, and wife Dr. Thao, of Clarion; three grandchildren, Justin Gabler, of Pittsburgh, Kyle Gabler and wife Krystyn, of Utica, and Shawlane Heffern, of Franklin. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, T.J. Blake and Ty Blake, William Corry and partner Leah, Cara Craig, Carter Shipley, and Curtis Shipley; two great-grandchildren, Karson Gabler and Amelia Gabler; and four step-great-grandchildren, Aubrianna Corry, Everett Craig, Avari Shipley, and Vincent Shipley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawna Gabler-Heffern. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where military honors will be accorded by the Funeral Honor Guard from American Legion Post 66 of Clarion on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow with Rev. Rob Hranicky officiating. It is reported she underwent minor surgery several days earlier and seemed to be making a satisfactory recovery. Among those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Chester McLean, Mr. and Mrs. Paul McLean, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Brittain and two daughters, Howard Brittain, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith and family, Warren; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smith and Mrs. Betty Morgan, Custer City. on March 16, 1961.3

     James Leon Wingard was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville, Mercer Co., Pennsylvania.2,5 His Social Security Number was 177-07-8472.6 He was born on October 8, 1920 at Sharpsville, Mercer Co., Pennsylvania.3,4,7,6,5 He married Catherine L. Mountain, daughter of Joseph Franklin "Joe" Mountain and Helen Celesta Weiser, on February 16, 1940.2,5 James Leon Wingard died on October 12, 2009 at Sharon, Mercer Co., Pennsylvania, at age 89.7,6,5 He James Leon Wingard Sr. of 415 Brooklyn St., Sharon, passed away of natural causes at 10:27 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. He was 89. Mr. Wingard was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Sharpsville to Martin C. and Emmaline Schell Wingard. He attended Sharon schools. For 46 years, he was employed at the former Sharon Steel Corp.’s Farrell plant, where he was a painter and foreman. James had also worked at the Farrell city offices in the maintenance department and more recently was a crossing guard for 12 years for Sharon schools, known as the “Rubber Band Man.” An Army veteran, James served during World War II. He was a member of Sharon Steel Corp.’s former Foreman’s Club and was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Catherine L. Mountain, whom he married Feb. 16, 1940, passed away March 20, 1984. Surviving are: a daughter, Jo Ann McKenna, at home; a son, James L. Wingard Jr. and his wife Becky, Mercer; four grandsons, Joseph and his wife Leslie Wingard, Scott and his wife Martha Wingard, Shawn and his wife Donna Wingard, and Kevin and his wife Misha Wingard; a granddaughter, Lora McKenna-Howard and her husband Patrick Howard; seven great-granddaughters, Cathy and her husband Cory Tonks, Kristine and her husband Frank Holobinko, Tabatha Wingard, Michalene Wingard, Catherine Howard, Caroline Howard and Claire Howard; and four great-grandsons, Joseph Wingard, Joshua and his wife Sarah Wingard, Duncan Wingard and Ian Wingard. He also leaves five great-great-grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Tonks; Lilly and Lauren Wingard; and Frank Holobinko; seven stepgrandchildren, 13 stepgreat-grandchildren and eight stepgreat-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Black, Sharpsville; and Anna Putnam and her husband Clarence, Sharon; and a brother, William Wingard and his wife Ruth, Greenville. James is also survived by a former daughter-in-law, Nancy Wingard, Hermitage. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ruth Millan, Sara First and Neva Langley; and a brother, Calvin Wingard. Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville, with honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6233, West Middlesex. on October 13, 2009.5
