Selvidge was born in Monticello, Ky., but had lived most of his life in Henry County. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Garnett; a daughter, Beth Selvidge, at home; three sons, Dan Selvidge, San Mateo, Calif., Bill Selvidge, W. Lafayette, and Ed Selvidge, Seymour; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, Sue Selvidge, Mt. Summit; three brothers, Stanley Selvidge, Spiceland, Jim Selvidge, Greenfield, and Forrest Selvidge, Lima, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Alene) Goodwin, Greenfield, and Mrs. John (Lois) Rutherford, Mt. Summit. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Nazarene Church, New Castle, with burial to follow in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle. on April 2, 1979.4

Frances I. Gray Frances I. Lightle, July 27, 1924 - September 04, 2015. Upland: Frances I. Lightle, 91, passed away at 6:48 p.m. Friday at home surrounded by family. She was born in Madison County the daughter of the late Carl and Beatrice (Stinson) Gray and Step-Father, Jesse Rogers. Frances married Will Lightle in Wabash February 2, 1946. He preceded her in death August 27, 1997. Together they owned and operated the Lightle Mobile Home Park in Upland for many years. She had also been employed with Paranit Wire Cable, Marion, and Freese Printing in Upland. She was a member of the Upland American Legion Auxiliary, and the Upland United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, William "Bill" (Vera) Lightle, Hudson, Wisconsin; a daughter, Lois (Cliff) Bragg, Upland; brothers, Robert Gray, Anderson, Jerry (Michelle) Rogers, Silom Springs, Arkansas, Rick (Rita) Rogers, Upland; sisters, Jean DeCamp, Upland, Jackie (Dave) Holloway, Macy, Sandra (Roy) Hallsell, Lapel; a half-sister, Marge Cummings; five grandchildren, Nikki (Todd) Roush, Clay (Sarah) Bragg, Andy (Randi) Bragg, Kim Kreischer, Erika (Brandon) Oman; and 10 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Liz" Sloderbeck, and Nancy Rogers, both of Upland; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Jack Rogers, a sister Cheralene Rhoten, and a half-sister, Marie Shore. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Clamme, Eddie DeCamp, Liz J.R. Rumple, Gentiva Hospice, and IU Blackford Community Hospital for taking such great care of Frances. Interment: Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, Indiana.2 She was buried at Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, Grant Co., Indiana.2,3 She was born on July 27, 1924 at Madison Co., Indiana.2 As of February 2, 1946,her married name was Lightle.2 She married Wilbert Courtney "Will" Lightle on February 2, 1946 at Wabash, Wabash Co., Indiana.2 Frances I.
