He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifford St. John Jr. Bob graduated from Minier High School and Illinois State University with a degree in biology education. He taught science classes at Wenona and was a farmer in the Cornell area. He was a member of Livingston County Farm Bureau and a tax assessor in Livingston County. He was a former treasurer for the Cornell Volunteer Fire Department. Bob was a member of Cornell-Blackstone United Methodist Church and attended First Presbyterian Church, Pontiac.
