     Gary Lynwood Hale Gary Lynwood Hale, Jul 20, 1953 - Feb 12, 2021. On Friday, February 12, 2021 Gary Lynwood Hale, 67, of Cloverdale peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded by his parents, Robert and Betty Hale and a sister, Sandy Hale. Gary was a devoted member of North Roanoke Baptist Church where he joyfully worshipped his Savior by singing in the choir for ten years. He retired after 39 years of service with the Pepsi Bottling Company. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and love of his life for 47 years, Debbie Hale; children, Heather (Justin) Young and Bradley (Mandi) Hale; sisters, Louise (Maurice) Wright, and Ginny (Mark) Smith; brother-in-law, Jim Perdue; beloved grandchildren, Allee and Noah Hale, and Mason Young; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.4 He was born on July 20, 1953 at Roanoke, Virginia.2,3,4 He married Debra Lynn Tolbert on August 10, 1973 at Roanoke, Virginia.3 Gary Lynwood Hale died on February 12, 2021 at Virginia at age 67.4

Sandra was employed and retired from Charles Lunsford Insurance and was a member of Copper Hill Church of the Brethren. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. Marty Moyer officiating.
