In 1937 she married Marion Ramsey, who survives with one daughter Mrs. Chester (Lazeraa) Cleaver of Kokomo; two grandchildren; her father of Bluntsville, Ind; four sisters, Mrs. Isaac (Matilda) Stout of Peru; Mrs. Henry (Kathleen) Phillabaum of Kokomo R.R. 5; Mrs. Paul (Marjorie) Coop of Windfall, and Mrs. Floyd (Mildred) Brogdon of Elwood; and a brother, Cecil Oxley of Orlando, Fla. She attended the Four Square Gospel Tabernacle and was formerly employed at Delco Radio. Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. in the Ellers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Barber officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. on April 24, 1965.2

(Deborah) Cleaver, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Devin Cleaver, Anthony (Kathy) Suffield, and Morgan Brown; former granddaughter-in-law, Barby Suffield; three great-grandchildren, Marnia Suffield, Aysia Suffield, and Billy Suffield; two great-great-grandchildren, Natalia Suffield and Renansmer Suffield; one brother, Tommy Cleaver; and one sister, Ruby Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lazerna Arlene (Ramsey) Cleaver; four brothers, Earnest M. Cleaver, Charlie J. Cleaver, Sammie Noel Cleaver, and Paul Cleaver; and one sister, Margaret Cleaver. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Eldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Whilder; three brothers, Garl Slagel, James Slagel, and Fred Carpenter; and two sisters, Rosie Carpenter and Ruth Carpenter.
