He was born December 22, 1958 in Beckley, W.VA. and was a graduate of Mt. Hope High School in W.VA. Wesley enjoyed sports radio, cars, lottery tickets and had a great love for his family especially his grandchildren, and was a friend to everyone. He worked for USG Interiors as a scheduling supervisor for 39 years. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Shirley (nee Stephenson); sons Jason (Katie) of Grafton, Brandon of Elyria; grandchildren Kayla, Colton, Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father Gene Holstein; his mother Janice Holstein-Meredith (nee Canterbury); step-father Larry Meredith; sister Kimberly.      Kimberly Lynn "Kim" Holstein was buried at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax, Fayette Co., West Virginia.³ Her Social Security Number was 293-66-1892.⁵ Her married name was Downing.³ She married Unknown Downing.³ Kimberly Lynn "Kim" Holstein was born on March 6, 1961 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^3,5 She died on November 9, 2011 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 50.^3,5 She Kimberly Lynn Holstein Downing, 50, of Beckley, W. Va., died on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born March 06, 1961, at Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gene Haden Holstein and Janice Aubrey Canterbury Holstein Meredith. Kimberly was a former employee of Dayton Tire Manufacturing. She was a 1979 graduate of Mount Hope High School and her hobbies included reading, decorating and spending time with her friends. The family wishes to give special thanks to the Bowers Hospice House staff for their excellent care and compassion and to her aunts, Judy Barley and Donna Canterbury for all the time they spent with Kim during her final days. Her step-father, Larry "Bucky" Meredith, preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Gina (Alex) Mester and their children, Alyssa, Parker, Emmeline and Meredith of Pax, Chet (Tiffany) Downing and their son, Dakota of Maple Fork and Tyler Downing of Maple Fork, and a brother, Wesley (Shirley) Holstein of Grafton, Ohio. Many friends also survive. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax. on November 11, 2011.³
