Born on Christmas Day in 1896 at Crow, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Julia Ann Bair Prince. Mrs. Dunn was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County, spent her childhood at Crow, and received her formal education from Beckley Institute and Concord College (Concord Normal School). She was formerly of Jennings Street and had been a resident of Maplewood Lane since 1940. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Courthouse Square, where she was a member of the Anchor Sunday School Class, was a homemaker, and was an avid gardener and had a fondness for a growing roses. She was the last survivor of 11 children she was preceded in death by her husband Warren J. Dunn in 1972. Survivors include a son Robert P. “Bob” Dunn and his wife Doris of Parkersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Bob (Julia Ann) Parker of Dumfries, Va; 5 grandchildren, Diane McClure, Sharon Dunn, Douglas Dunn, Jennifer Patterson, and Kevin Parker, and a dear sister-in-law Grace Lee Prince of Beckley. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Russell Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. on January 2, 1991.3
