After Senator Kilgore passed away she remained in the employ of his wife, Lois. She spent over 35 years with the Kilgore family before returning to Beckley. Miss Hall never married nor had children of her own. Gwen was a soft spoken, caring person that could light up a room with her smile. If you knew her you loved her. Eula was born on November 18, 1924 in Lawton, WV and moved to the Northern Virginia area in 1958. She was a former Fairfax County Food Services employee. She enjoyed shopping, bird watching, word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Palmer Frank and Matilda Alice Burnett; husband: James Lewis Tread; brothers: Raymond Burnett, Ralph Burnett, Alvey (Ray) Burnett, Roy Burnett; sister: Garnet Holliday; and grandchildren: Alexander Tread and Nicholas McLaughlin.
