Entombment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in the Kramer Chapel. Barbara Terry, 84, Alexandria, passed away on December 30, 2016, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Myrl Aswell Rasbury; husband, Paul Terry; daughter, Brenda Cole Moreau; son, David Terry. Barbara graduated from Bolton High School in 1950 and was a graduate of LA Tech. She was a member of PHI MU Fraternity. As a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church Mrs. Terry taught Sunday School and volunteered for vacation bible school. She volunteered at summer camp for underprivileged girls and was a Girl Scout leader. Mrs. Terry worked as a secretary for Roy O. Martin Lumber Co. Additionally, Mrs. Terry worked with the Lupus Support Group; a pink lady with St. Frances Cabrini Hospital Auxiliary. Barbara is survived by her son, Daryl Terry and wife, Fran, of Alexandria; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Chris Terry, Louis Terry, Joey Boudreaux, James McClung, Jimmy Brewer, and Richard Landry. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Calvary Baptist Church, 5011 Jackson St., Alexandria, LA. 71303. on December 31, 2016.1
