Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Beckelheimer Rice; three sons, William G. of Pensacola, Fla., Elmer Jr. of Beckley and Larry of Amigo; five sisters, Mrs. Georgia Christ and Mrs. Jane Patton, both of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Bertie Setliff of Colonial Beach, Va., Mrs. Jessie Snyder of Saltville, Va., and Mrs. Juanita Lusk of Allen Junction; two brothers, Eddy of Colonial Beach and Harold of Muncie, Ind., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Keyser-Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Grose officiating. Cremation will follow in the Keyser-Bryant Crematorium. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. on March 13, 1972.²
