     Rickey Lee Salkil Rickey Lee Salkil, age 64, of Clever, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. He was born on August 25, 1952 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Harvey and Florence (Breshears) Salkil. Rickey was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Nelda King-Salkil; and his parents. Rickey is survived by his four children and their spouses, Jeff and Michelle Salkil, Clinton and Audra Salkil, David and Shelley Salkil, and Heather and Dustin Coniglio; eight grandchildren, Cali, Makayla, Tristan, Raegan, Jessica, Audrey, Cameron, Calan; a great grandson, Baylor; and three siblings, many nieces, nephews, and friends. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Frazier Cemetery, Boaz, Missouri, under the care of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri.² He was buried at Frazier Cemetery, Boaz, Christian Co., Missouri.² He was born on August 25, 1952 at Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri.² He married Nelda Lea King on March 22, 1973 at Greene Co., Missouri.^2,3 Rickey Lee Salkil died on January 10, 2017 at Missouri at age 64.²

     Nelda Lea King was buried at Frazier Cemetery, Boaz, Christian Co., Missouri.¹ She was born circa 1956 at Boaz, Christian Co., Missouri.¹ As of March 22, 1973,her married name was Salkil.¹ She married Rickey Lee Salkil, son of Rev. Harvey Isaac Salkil and Florence Lula Beshears, on March 22, 1973 at Greene Co., Missouri.^2,1 Nelda Lea King died on March 9, 2015 at Missouri.¹ She Nelda Lea King-Salkil of Clever died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the age of 59 years, four months and nine days. Nelda fought a one-year battle with lung cancer. Nelda was born and raised in Boaz and continued to live in Clever for the remainder of her life. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Rickey Lee Salkil, whom she wed on March 22, 1973. Nelda is also survived by their four children and their spouses, Jeff and Michelle Salkil, CJ and Audra Salkil, David and Shelley Salkil, and Dustin and Heather Salkil-Coniglio, all of the Springfield-surrounding area; her grandchildren, Cali, Makayla, Tristan, Raegan, Jessica, Audrey, Cameron and Calan; and also her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and others. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Lois King; a nephew, Aaron King; and her sister, Connie Vaughn. Visitation: Wednesday, March 11, in Meadors Funeral Home, Clever Chapel. Funeral services: Thursday, March 12, also in the funeral home, with burial following in Frazier Cemetery, Boaz. on March 16, 2015.¹

Ingram Mill, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in United Methodist Church at Fordland, with the Revs. Gerald Seely, Billy Grabeel and Nathan Ruble officiating. Burial will be in Fordland Cemetery under direction of Marsh of Fordland. Mrs. Salkil died Tuesday at her home of strangulation. Police ruled her death a homicide. She was a clerk-stenographer for the Greene County Office of the Missouri Division of Famlly Services. She attended Fordland schools and was a member of United Methodist Church in Fordland. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Albert; a stepson, Daniel Albert Jr; a brother, Jeffrey Allen Trivitt, of the home; her grandfather, R.J. Rotzinger, Fordland; and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Trivitt, Fordland. The body will be at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. on August 7, 1980.²

"Arkie" Salkil, Battlefield, departed this life Wednesday, April 7, 1993, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, at the age of 59 years. One of nine children, he was born June 30, 1933, to Bud and Neal Salkil in Brookline. He served in the United States Navy for nine years. He retired from the General Electric Company after 26 years and eight months where he was employed as an electrical specialty engineer. Survivors include his wife, Alice, of the home; two sons, James and Jeff Salkll, Davenport, Iowa; two brothers, Henry Salkil, Nlxa, and Finis Salkil, Ozark; four sisters, Hester Mantel, Leeton, Mae Taylor and Evelin Jones, both of Springfield, and Linnia Hancock, Bois D'Arc; two stepchildren, Lona Bradford and Jim Bradford, both of Springfield; and two stepgrandchildren, Justin and Christina Bradford, Springfield. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Walnut Lawn DeGraffenreid-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Elder officiating. Burial with military rites will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. on April 9, 1993.⁵
